As long as a Skin is considered Legacy it has a chance to come back into the store. When is the question. Challenger Ahri to Riot was the start of this current season. So it seems likely that either the end of, or the start of next season is when they might re-release it. But there are other factors into it. Maybe Ahri will receive an update. majority of the time they do this, the release a Bundle of all the skins. Like with Himer, and i believe Trist got it as well! Since it was released January it probably close to the end of the year. They need to keep it balanced when doing legacy skins or else what would even be the point?
With the case of Championship Riven its a different story. While that skin was release Legacy skins werent the "big thing". And from Riot standpoint i can see why they would make a skin like that Limited Edition. There will only ever be on season 2, and that was to commemorate that! But because of the jump roar with other current Championship skins now being Legacy it does seem unfair to have this one locked. Because of that there has been talk of next season having it be release since it would mark a 5 skin Bundle. So while nothing is official, there is talk about it coming back, just noting set it stone yet.
For me personally despite owning the skin (kinda obvious with my icon) i feel they should release it. There are always going to be new players in this game, and people will miss out on things. But that shouldnt mean they miss out on some awesome skins! I have this opinion on all of their skins that are currently Limited Edition/locked out. I feel that unless its contacted based (eg PAX) they should have all their skins as Legacy and stop this nonsense of special snowflakes who feel the need to be high and mighty because they own something you dont!
