Bringing an item from ARAM to SR

Lightbringer. Personally, I think it would help fill the dot niche a bit more as well as provide a way to check bushes more safely. Any thoughts on why this isn't in SR already?

They probably don't add it (And Hextech Sweeper) because it would weaken a lot of champions indirectly.

Teemo? Carry a Lightbringer and kill all the shrooms.

Kha'Zix? Reveal him before you duel him.

But, personally, I think they SHOULD be added. Because then it allows Riot to add power to those champions. They can make Teemo's shrooms REALLY hurt. What? Half your hp was taken from a shroom? Shoulda had a Hextech Sweeper to check around.

Also, they may not want people to feel 'forced' into buying things, but that isn't really applicable since there's already items like that (You NEED Zhonya's/Quicksilver against Zed, you NEED Thornmail against Vayne/Draven).

As a person who use to play Dominion when it was really popular, you don't want to Teemo shrooms to be powerful. It just requires no skill on the player's part of whoever is playing the champion and causes no interaction on the map even more besides what you usually see in a regular Teemo match.

They have this item on ARAM and Howling Abyss because those maps have less access to vision, so something that detects traps and can be used to find stealthed or hiding champions is more necessary than on Summoner's Rift. On the Rift, it would become a unnecessarily strong counter to a few specific champions, and a trap item otherwise.

I don't really get what filling a DoT niche would actually do in practical terms. It's just another form of damage on a champion already oriented around dps, and it's kind of inferior to other damage items.

The passive that reveals stealthed objects is too strong. And the active pushes out item 3364.

With some slight adjustment, I wanna seeitem 3184 on SR. Maybe make it inflict Magic Damage instead of True Damage, with a shorter duration. It has a slightly weird build path for what it results in. I think that's tradeoff enough for how strong it could be in the right hands

Passive only reveals traps. And why not just drop the active on the SR version?

SR is balanced very differently than HA, or CS for that matter. If anything they'd drop the passive and keep the active. Good point on traps only. I forgot about that, since wards don't exist on those maps. Likely, the passive would be removed, and the active would only reveal traps. Not wards or champs

Because ADCs need more % damage amplifiers, right?

I was in it more for CrewX response. Reveal invisible objects. I like dots, but I like sight more. Being able to derp up an Akali, Twitch, Teemo etc...sounds fun =D.

RIP Teemo

But we can buff him now =D. No more fear of camping the jungle at lvl 2 (a fun thing to do. get q/e go camp the buff and just....profit). He now has damage!!! =P

dude be real, if your adc and there is a teemo on the enemy YOUR buying lightbringer. No question about it.

The only two items I would bring from other maps would be item 3112 (with modifications) and item 3180 (with modifications).

The Howling Abyss is a single, cramped lane. Stealthed traps can blanket it very effectively. Even 10 mushrooms seems like a lot. Summoner's Rift is a much larger map with 3 lanes and a jungle. Teemo at the mushroom cap (3 stored, 37 recharged at max CDR before the first expires = 40) can't coat the map with anywhere near that coverage.

Summoner's Rift already has Vision wards, Lens trinkets, and the Razor Sharp buff from smiting Crimson Raptors. Unlike Howling Abyss, Summoner's Rift also allows you to Recall when wounded. This means that triggering a trap doesn't mean your death is inevitable.

Due to the size of Howling Abyss, people still trigger traps despite having vision. Summoner's Rift's wide area means that there is just that much more space where a random trap won't hit you.

The Howling Abyss needs those items. Summoner's Rift has vision items of its own. Too much vision and stealth-reliant champions will be in a bad place.
