PFE was 50% off at 1625 and SGU was 40% off at 1950, And now DJ Sona will only be 25% off. Basically which means that Riot will make the next Ultimate skin only 5% off at this rate. Come on, you guys are always talking about clarity and trying to make things standard, but can't even standardize promo prices. Especially after delaying this skin by 3 months..
you think they are going to let you save 1500 rp on the best skin they have ever put out?
They could at least make it 35% or 40% off. I mean its a fantastic skin, but by lowering the discount you get (which has been lowering every release) It just encourages them to not do sales for these Ultimate skins. Next Ultimate skin will be only 10% off. This is the whole 590RP skin, and 6300 IP champ situation all over again.
DJ Sona has had an insane amount of work put in it compared to the previous ultimate skins.
There is a forbes article about DJ Sona, the amount of work that riot put into DJSona makes SGU and PFE look half-baked.
Well, it's Riot who won't get as much money out of it.
How many people aren't going to buy the skin just because of ~200RP difference if the discount was at 30%? A lot, just look at comments under [email protected] post regarding DJ Sona discount. Myself, I'd have to spend twice as much just to get required amount of RP for DJ Sona. Not my kind of deal.
9 months ago talked about how Ultimate skins may no longer have launch sales, just saying totally called it.
