Common folklore said that, moments before someone dies, he would feel an ominous presence that would send chills through-out his body. Before drawing his dying breath, he would see a dark silhouette staring at him with red emotionless eyes. He would see a Death Reaper who would have come to collect his soul and lead it to the Realm of the Dead. Of-course that would only be a folklore, shared at the taverns between drunk men or between soldiers. Up until that moment.

It's night and the sailors have gathered in the taverns of a port-city at Bilgewater. The fires of the candles start to tremble and the wooden walls of the taverns start to creak. Then silence falls. "The Black Mist is here", the scream echoes through the silence and everyone rushes outside. The black wall had already reached the port and the undead started sweeping through everything and everyone. Captain Gangplank is rushing to the docks from inside the city, followed by many of his men. As they are running, they notice a figure standing on top of a building, holding a giant scythe with each right hand. It stares at the onslaught in the docks. The dark figure turns its head and looks at them. Its red eyes send chills down their spines. They can only think of death. Their own death. The figure stays still and, yet, in the blink of the eye it appears in front of them. The men cant move as the figure stands in front of them, it's stare is cold and overbearing. It may be seconds till they first saw the figure, but it seems like years. Staying still, the figure speaks with a cold ominous voice "Leave. Your time has not come yet. Undead are not something for mortal men to mess with. They are my job. Its time for them to rest". Again, in the blink of the eye, the figure appears far away from them, until it disappeared into the black mist.

The sounds of swords and shields clashing stops. The torn armors shine red as the sun sets. The young noble lays on the ground fatally wounded. Dark figures with giant scythes silently walk around him. One of them approaches him. He is afraid. But as the figure stands next to him he feels peaceful. The last rays of the sun light the figure's face. She is a young woman, with pale skin and red eyes. The words barely come out from his mouth "Who are you?". The woman smiles and then speaks with a cold, yet, soothing voice "I'm Kira, an angel of death. I've come to bring you peace.". The man speaks with a trembling voice "Please spare me. Im still very young. I'm rich. I can give you everything you want. Please spare me.". The woman's smile disappears as she speaks again "There is no difference between poor and rich in death's eyes. Your gold and your riches cant save you. You should rest now.". The sound of metal breaking echoes one last time in the battlefield as the giant scythe falls.

The men in the taverns are speaking of black figures with giant scythes silently watching over human's battles. They are barely visible but everyoen can feel them.

Death Reapers always existed in Runeterra. Able to pass unseen from mortals, their job was to escort the dead to the Realm of the Dead and bring rest to those claimed by undeath. With wars and battles always increasing and more people at the death's door, they are becoming more and more visible to humans. Kira is one of their Commanders, tasked to bring death to those who should have died.

  1. Personality

As someone who's lived for thousands of years and tasked with bringing death to those that are in near-death-state or those who wrongfully elude it, she has a cold and serious personality. She shows no mercy for those who embrace undeath or try to cheat death. Bribes and pleads dont faze her at all. She has a job to do and nothing can stop her from claiming her prey. On the other hand, she shows a softer and kinder side to those who have accepted their fate. She is, also, fair to those whose time has not come yet.

  1. Appearance

Kira is tall, with red eyes and long red hair. Her skin is pale. She wears torn black clothes that cover most of her body, a torn black cape and knee-high black boots. She wields a big scythe with black hilt and red blade.

  1. Skills

Passive: Angel of Death Kira can sense enemies who near death. Enemies below 50% HP are highlighted on the map, but not revealed. Kira has 20% increased out-of-combat movement speed when moving towards them increased to 40% when within 500 units of them. Additionally her basic skills have bonus effects when targeting units with less than 50%HP.

Q: Cleave Kira cleaves with her scythe in a cone in front of her. Enemies hit take physical damage depending on their missing HP. Enemies below 50% HP are inflicted with grievous wounds for 4 seconds. Damage: 50-65 / 65-80 / 80-95 / 95-110 / 110-125 (+80-130% bonus AD) maxed at 50%HP Cooldown: 9 seconds at all levels

W: Death Reaper's Scythe/Debilitating Strike Death Reaper's Scythe (passive): Kira's basic attacks make enemies bleed for 2% of their current HP as physical damage every second for 4 seconds (doesn't stack but additional hits refresh the duration). Enemies below 50% take 3% of missing HP every second for 3 seconds instead. Debilitating Strike (active): Kira's next basic attack will deal additional damage depending on her target's HP and shred 20% of it's total armor for 3 seconds. Enemies below 50% are struck with Debilitate. If any of their skills is ready, it's put on cooldown (if more than 1, then 1 of them is randomly selected), if its an ultimate ability its put on a 10 seconds cooldown. If all their skills are on cooldown, all cooldowns are increased by 2 seconds (5 seconds for ultimate). Damage: 50-70 / 70-90 / 90-110 / 110-130 / 130-150 (+90-130% total AD) Cooldown: 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 seconds

E: Shadow Step Kira blinks to the target location, stunning enemy champions for 0.5 seconds within 180 units. For the next 3 seconds she has 5/7.5/10/12.5/15% increased tenacity and slow resistance, doubled when within 500 units of an enemy champion who is below 50% HP. Enemies below 50% are knocked down for 0.5 seconds. Range: 700 units Cooldown: 20 / 18 / 16 / 14 / 12 seconds

R: Coup de Grace Kira strikes at the target champion dealing physical damage. If the target is below 50% HP, the damage is increased by 1% for every 1% HP it's missing. If the target is below 20% HP it's executed. Enemies killed by Coup de Grace that are revived by an ability or item, are revived with 50% of the intended HP. The damage and execute have a small delay. Damage: 150 / 250 / 350 (+ 120% bonus AD) Cooldown: 140 / 120 / 100 seconds

Changes #1 Minor change on her lore to match the changes on her W. W: changed knock down to stun for 0.5 seconds. changed fear on enemies below 50%HP to knock down for 0.5 seconds. R: added a small delay before damage or execute are applied.

preface: i dont play ad champs so im not familiar with appropriate ratios and base damages for normal skills

really good lore, might overlap weaponwise with kayn a bit much, maybe give her some cool staff or a sickle but when she attacks or uses abilities a scythe blade appears

P: might be op and need tuning to a lower health threshold q: seems fine w: likely put an enemy from 50 to 20 % hp in like 3 basic attacks with that passive, with current ease of attaining lethality this might need tuning down, active seems fine but the armor shred may have to scale up to 20 with skill level e: the knock is actually more powerful than the fear due to being more difficult to cleanse. for a moderate range instant blink i would recommend changing the cc to .5 second root for normal and .5 second root plus ~1.5 second grounding after root for <50% hp r: not too bad, single target execute with some GA eff counter. youll need to add in a tiny bit out counterplay for this. Garen has a cast time and evelyn has the window of untargetability. Also the guaranteed execute shouldnt proc if the target is shielded above 20%. More directly you can add a small cast time and cause it to do 25% true damage to any target under 25% hp. Alternatively you could change it into a Dot skill and allow it to do like 10% hp true damage per second but only make it usable on champs under like 30 or 40% hp and not have an activation delay. Also as a form of escape since shes an assasin you could give her invisibility on cast which would give her the choice between ult and run (depending on her ult solely to get the kill) or ulting and fighting which increases kill chance but also denies her the ease of escaping with stealth.

solid champ overall, she seems like she'd either fall off pretty hard or snowball really bad. Also in todays overinflated damage meta especially for ad champs i'm wary of releasing another high damage ad champ. Once they fix crit, lethality, and defence runes i could see her being a reasonable champ. Also under residence i think you meant abode instead of adobe.

Quick Question:

For your E, when you say "Enemies below 50% are knocked down for 0.5 seconds.", do you mean rooted? or some grounded? or am i missing something?

It's good, but isn't their passive just a warwick W? Besides the additional effects anyway
