[Champion Concept] Vergil the Fox Hunter

I posted this concept on the old board, and by popular demand (and I finally remembered to) I am re-submitting it here. I put a lot of work into all my ideas, and I hope you all like them...there IS a button for it...just saying...it is there.

The name is purely coincidental (no it's not). Hope you enjoy it.

How long has it been? I honestly can't remember the time, or even the exact place, but I'll never forget her face. My name is Vergil, and my family once owned a farm in Ionia. My mother fell to illness, leaving only me, my father, and my brother. We were harmless farmers, working men. Our only real threat came from the occasional fox that wandered into our farm. We never hurt them though. My father said we were only borrowing the land from them. One night, I awoke to a strange voice. Strange but welcome. A soft coo that innocently beckoned.My father and brother must have heard it as well, as I saw them walk mindlessly toward the beautiful woman that produced it. She had the ears and tails of a fox, but was human in every other sense. Looking back, I wonder how I had not been affected as they were. Though I followed, I froze in terror as I watched her consume their very essence. I thought it was a dream, it had to have been, until I saw the empty husks were once my family. Who was that woman? What sorcery was she using? Why had she not come after me? At the time, those questions didn't matter. I wasn't sad or confused, I was angry. I left the farm, why should I stay? There was nothing there anymore. I had one goal in mind: to take the life of the fox that took mine. Before I began my journey, I ventured t a nearby forest in southern Ionia, and killed every last fox that lived there. I trained myself in the years to come, both physically and mentally. My travels took me to Valoran, where I learned a style called Phaze, a form of anti magic designed to counter and nullify other forms of magic. Eventually I learned of the League of Legends. During my investigating, I found a nine tailed fox. That was her. Ahri, do you think you're safe in the League? This is for my father and brother, I won't fail. I'm coming for you Ahri, and this time, I won't be charmed by your tricks. This time I take your life. "Never before have I seen someone so driven, so empowered, so consumed by their lust for revenge. Growth Health: 420(+85/level) Health Regen: 4.2 (+.4/level) Mana: 300 (+50/level) mana regen: 6(+.6/level) Atack damage: 50(+3/level) Armor: 17(+3.9/level) Attack Speed: .625 (+2%/level) Magic resist: 30 (+1/level) Movement speed: 340 Attack range: 425

Abilities Passive: Mental Fortress Through intense training, Vergil has learned to retain complete control over his thoughts and actions.When targeted by a charm, fear, or taunt, Vergil receives a 30% penalty to movement and attack speeds for the abilities duration, but is not charmed, feared or taunted. When targeted by a stun, Vergil receives an 90% penalty to movement and attack speeds for the stuns duration, but is not stunned. This takes a great deal of focus, and Vergil can't use abilities while the penalty is active. Q: Phaze Step range: 600 mana: 75/80/85/90/100 cooldown: 25/22/20/18/15 Damage: 45/60/75/90/105(+50%AP) Vergil dashes is target direction, leaving a trail of Phaze energy 200 units wide behind him for 5 seconds. Enemies on the trail receive damage and are silenced for as long as they're on it, and for 1.5 seconds after they leave. Vergil can stack up to two Phaze steps which can be used in succession. One stack is gained every cooldown period. Enemies silenced by Phaze Step cannot be silenced by Phaze Step again for ten seconds. W: Pilfer/Strife Vergil switches between forms of Phaze each gaining different abilities. Pilfer: Basic attacks cost 6%/7%/8%/10%/12% mana, deal 4%/5%/6%/7%/10% AP as true damage Vergil's attacks turn green, and his mana regen is reduced by half. Strife: Vergil emits a constant aura with a radius of 400/450/500/550/600 units. Enemies within the aura receive 5%/6%/7%/9%/10% AD as mana damage and have their mana regen reduced by 10%/12%/14%/16%/18%/20% E: Displacement range: 260 radius mana: 100/110/115/120/130 cooldown: 30/30/25/20/15 damage: 70/75/80/85/90(+40%AP +40%AD) Duration: 1 second. Vergil discharges a violent aura of Phaze energy around him, causing damage and knocking nearby enemies back 200 units. If a skill shot ranged projectile ability hits Vergil while the aura is active, it is thrown off course and Vergil receives no damage. "True direction" and target lock abilities that hit Vergil while the aura is up will hit him, but will cause no damage and will not trigger on hit effects (like Nocturne's Dusk Trail). R: Purging Fire range: 700 radius mana: 150/225/300 cooldown: 90/75/60 damage: 90/180/270(+75%AP +40% targets max mana OR +20% targets max health) Channel Time: 1 second Vergil brings down the wrath of Phaze. The white fire strikes around Vergil, causing damage to all enemies hit ignoring all shields and in-vulnerabilities and reducing their capacity and duration by 30%/40%/50%

And that's Vergil, again. I am working on drawing Vergil, and his quotes and stuff, so look forward to that. My other ideas will be submitted to this new board as well, as I remember to do it, and with proper pacing. Don't want to post them all at once, you know? I have to say that, while the concept is cool, this champ is simply a broken design. His passive basically says "I'm immune to hard CC trollolol" which is just plain silly, especially since slows cannot stack. His Q just puts the nail in the OP combo, not only does he ignore hard CC, but he can dasha few tiems to boot! This is just not a good combo but mainly thanks to the passive, maybe instead give him a chance to ignore charm fear taunt by 50% but stuns last half as long. This would keep it's main intent without being overly broken. W needs some numbers adjustment. Pilfer's true damage is just....insane. I mean, if i build pure AP and then go in, i can deal over 100 true damage every hit. This is along with however hard im aready hitting (which would be a LOT with AP.) Instead, make it aoe and deal that ap damage as Ability damage. The Strife part can be TOO much mana killing. Make it do that effect every few seconds (like 3-7 area) while halfing mana regen all the time. E needs some kind of counter, so the projectiles should apply to skills shots, but targeted should go through. True Direction shots that DON'T stop on first target hit (Zyra's E and EZ's ult come to mind) should just hit him. His ult is a cool idea but instead of just insta breaking shields, make the damage ignore shields and half their current capacity. Insta shield shatter may be too much. You can also even make this ignore invulnerability, giving a good counter to Kayle ult or poppy ult. My last concern is idk if this champ is an ADC or bruiser or assassin or what. I imagine a bruiser build, but ADC would be very OP and assassin could work but would be too simular to Kass. All in all, great alpha concept, just change some ideas so they aren't over powered and i can see the concept being a possibility down the line. :)
