[Champion Concept] Zero, the Frozen Hero
So, it's been a few days since Vergil was posted. I think it's a good time to revive another idea from the old board. I gotta tell you, this one was my favorite. Don't get me wrong, I love all my concepts, and I put a lot of time into all of them, but I like this one the best (don't tell the others). You know the drill: read, like, comment.
Zero, The Frozen Hero "I will do anything, I will sacrifice everything to protect the world from a reign of black Ice."
Their are few who haven't heard the tale of the Ice Witch, there are fewer still who know the true face of the evil. Long ago, the Ice witch invoked the aid of the Watchers, who were slain by the hands of ancient heroes. Zero, the descendent of one such hero, grew up in a small village in the Freljord, where he hunted for food and money while apprenticing as a blacksmith. Zero took pride in his lineage, but believed he would never see true battle. One day, Zero was asked to accompany a caravan traveling to nearby villages for trade, Zero agreed. Nearing a respected tribe called the Frostguard, a strange sensation of fear and dread swept over Zero. Several days later, Zero returned to the Frostguard and asked to see their chief, as a sign of good faith between the two villages. When he looked upon her face he felt a sinister energy radiating from her body. As if by instinct Zero attacked. He was exiled from both the Frostguard and his village. A few nights later, Zero had a dream; in it he saw a battle between the heroes and the watchers, he also saw a face, the face of the Ice Witch. All at once he understood; the Ice Witch was alive, and he must finish what his ancestors had started. That feeling he had, the chief of the Frostguard must have been her. The following night, under the cover of darkness, Zero snuck into Frostguard village. The Ice Witch was gone, but the feeling of dread was not. Zero came to a harsh and distressing realization; the entire tribe had been brainwashed and worked for the Ice Witch. There was only one course of action. With sorrow in his heart, Zero went through the entire village and, one by one, executed the entire Frostguard. Zero vowed that night he would do whatever it took to stop the Witch. As the years passed, Zero became more in touch with the power in his veins. As it grew, Zero built his gun, Celsius, enchanting it with the ice in his blood. Eventually, Zero discovered the location of the Ice Witch. She had entered the League of Legends. As if to insult Zero, she even used her real identity in doing so: Lissandra. The Ice Witch had to be stopped before her vision of a new ice age was realized. Zero, with Celsius in hand, made for the Fields of Justice. There, he would defeat Lissandra, prove her influence on the Frostguard, clear his name, and put an end to her reign.

"You can't escape from me." Abilities Passive:Crystal Bullets Zero's ice enchanted bullets gain 5% armor penetration at level 1, increasing by 5% at levels 6, 11, and 16, capping at 20%. This passive does stack with armor pen from other sources.
Q: Frigid Reaper Mana: 40/50/60/70/80 Cooldown: 16/14/12/10/9 seconds Range: 300 in fornt, 300/400/500/550/600 across Damage (physical): 60/90/120/150/180 (+30%AP)(+50%AD) Zero fires Celsius at the ground in front of him in a sweep, forming ice crystals to shoot from the ground, causing damage and slowing targets hit by 10/15/20/25/30% for 2 seconds.
W: Arctic Steel Mana: 80/90/95/105/110 Cooldown: 35/30/30/20/15 seconds Range: 650 Sheild: 50/60/70/80/90(+25%AP)(+15% targets missing health) Zero fires an enchanted bullet of permafrost. If used on himself, or an ally champion, the frost encircles them, sheilding them from damage, removing all debuffs, and making the target immune to all debuffs for the shield's duration. If used on an enemy champion their armor buckles, reducing their armor and magic resist by 15/20/25/30/35 for 3 seconds.
E: Polar Surge Mana: 50/60/70/75/80 Cooldown: 25/20/15/12/9 seconds Range: 200 inner radius 600 outer radius Damage (physical): 70/90/110/130/150(+60%AD) Zero fires Celsius straight into the ground beneath him, causing a shock wave of ice to rupture from the ground, and spread outward around him. Enemies close to Zero are knocked into the air for 1 second.
R: Lethality Shard Mana: 100/150/200 Cooldown: 110/90/70 seconds Range: 1000/1250/1500 Damage (physical): 100/150/250(+33%AP)(+33%AD) Zero fires an ultra cold skill shot bullet that travels in a straight line and strikes the first enemy champion hit. Lethality Shard gains an additional 15% armor penetration, and deals a bonus 3 points of true damage for every point of bonus armor the target has. The bullet will stop if it collides with an obsticle, but will pierce and break champion made obsticals. If Lethality Shard misses, Zero prepares another clip in Celcius, granting him +5/7/10 attack speed for 3 seconds and reducing Lethality Shard's cooldown by 20 seconds. Tips for Zero: -Zero mixes Ability Power and Attack Damage. Consider a hybrid build with more emphasis on whichever best suites your situation. -Frigid Reaper doesn't grow much in power, but it's slow and width get higher as it levels. At level five, it will cover an entire lane. -The Black Cleaver is a great choice for Zero. Consider rushing it before boots. -Zero's Lethality shard is dangerous, even more so against tanks like Malphite and Blitzcrank. If the enemy team has a tank, try saving your ult for them for maximum effect. -Lethality Shard may grant additional attack speed if it misses, but it's still in your best interest to hit. -Arctic Steel gives more of a shield the lower the targets health is. -Arctic Steel can save you or a teammate from death, or make it easier to kill enemy champions. Its cooldown is high though, so you have to prioritize. Tips against Zero: -Zero's health and armor are quite low, and his early game is weak. Focus on him early to keep him behind. -Frigid Reaper can be used to slow your pursuit, or hasten Zero's. Consider tenacity items when faceing him. -Arctic Steel causes no damage, but makes you more suseptible to future attacks. -Beware fighting Zero if you're the team's tank. Consider swiching roles with your teammates to avoid his advantage. -Lethality Shard is devestating to high armor champions. Remember: the more armor you have, the more damage it causes. -Lethality Shard can be dodged if you act fast enough. The Attack Speed buff a missed shot gives Zero is often worth the trade off. -Zero has passive armor pen, remember this while fighting him. Higher armor doesn't necessarily mean lower damage. Dialogue: When Summoned: "Between you and me, they don't stand a chance." While moving: "Call the shot." "I follow you." "I see what you're doing." "Freeze hahaha." Joke: "Oh...that was cold." Taunt: "You were hardly worth the bullets." "I don't think Celsius likes you."
