[Champion Concept] Cole, the Darkness Within
Another few days since Zero, so here's another revival of an old board thread. This one gets confusing and, I admit, may need a lot of work. Tell me what you think (also, I just bought the game The Darkness Within from Steam, I don't know if any problem will come from the name, if it does, I can change it, no big deal).
Cole, The Darkness Within Role: assassin, fighter
Cole [data expunged] is an agent for an organization called [data expunged] which is committed to investigating and eliminating matters deemed to "controversial" for the public. One day, Cole and his team were sent to [data expunged], near the infamous Shadow Isles, to investigate reports of a mysterious chasm that had recently appeared. Upon arrival, a roar echoed within the hole. Cole felt a pain in his head, and passed out. When he awoke, the chasm, and his team, were gone. Weeks passed, and Cole began to experience strange fits of rage and madness. Soon, his dreams became infected with images of a monster tearing people apart with its bare hands. A full year after the mission at [data expunged] Cole lost consciousness, and awoke in a cell, covered in blood. His superior, Commander [data expunged] told Cole that he had murdered an entire town, and that eye witnesses reported a monster ripping their loved ones apart. This news shocked Cole. The monsters description had matched the one from his dreams, they were real. [data expunged] agreed to release Cole on one condition. Research had shown that a man named Lucian knew much of the darkness that surrounded the Shadow Isles, Cole was to seek his council. Months passed before Cole could find this man, and the creature was growing stronger. The blackouts and nightmares becoming more frequent. Slowly, Cole was losing control. Once found, Lucian told Cole that he had been "infected" by the darkness, and that the only possible path towards purging it lay within the League of Legends. The Council informed Cole that a cure was possible, but it would take time. Until then, he was to remain in the Fields of Justice, where they could keep the creature in check. They gave Cole a fragment of a nexus, telling him that the nexus it came from held special energies and had already given birth to, and successfully bound, a creature they called Nocturne. This would suppress the creature, but only if he stayed near a nexus. Cole decided to join the League, already having efficient combat experience through [data expunged]. He left his fate to the summoners who, through the League, were able to control the creature within. "My rage brings darkness, blood, and death. Not by my hands, but the creature's." -Cole
GROWTH Attack Range: 125 Health: 430 (+85/level) Health Regen: 7.5(+.5/level) Mana: -- Mana Regen: -- Attack Damage: 52 (+3.333/level) Attack Speed: .651(+3.6%/level) Armor: 16(+3/level) Magic resist: 30(+1/level) Movement Speed: 325 ABILITIES Passive: Control Cole passively gains control, up to 100. Every 25, he gains a passive 10% increase to one of his stats. Movement speed at 25, armor at 50, magic resist at 75, and attack damage at 100. Half is lost upon dying. One point of control is gained every three seconds, every third basic attack or ability used, and one every third time he receives damage from any source. Upon killing a champion, Cole gains 10 control, and 5 upon assists. Cole will not begin to gain control until first blood is drawn. Q: Slit Cool down: 18/16/14/12/10 seconds Range: 500 Damage (physical): 55/80/105/130/155 (+33%AD) Cole dashes to the target enemy and slits their throat, causing damage and silencing them for 1.5 seconds. If the target is bleeding or has grievous wounds (from any source), Slit will cause 2% of the targets Max health as bonus physical damage. Also, if Slit kills the target, it's cool down is cut in half. W: Flash Grenade Cool Down: 25/22/19/16/15 seconds Range: 600 Radius: 300 150 inner Duration: 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds Cole throws a flash grenade at the target area. After 1 second, it explodes, stunning enemies caught within the inner radius, and blinding enemies farther away blast, and revealing the area. The area of effect will light up as the grenade nears its detonation. E: Reaver Cool Down: 30/25/22/17/15 Range: self Damage (physical): 80/110/140.170/200(+75%AD) Cole's next basic attack strikes the target's artery, damaging them and causing them to bleed for 2% of their max health over 3 seconds. Also, Cole gains +1%/2%/3%/4%/5% attack speed and attack damage for every 15% of missing health. This passive does not apply to the creature. R:Unleashed Cost: 20 control/second (must have 100 control)cooldown: 150 seconds (cooldown begins upon death or reverting back to Cole) Cole releases the creature within, who gains an additional 10% bonus to his control stats (20% increase to movement speed, armor, magic resist, and attack damage). Once all control is spent, the creature will roar for one second, becoming untargetable and fearing enemies within 300 units of him for 1.5 seconds. Afterward, the creature begins to devour Cole's soul. The summoner's screen starts to turn red and the creature gains another 10% bonus to his control stats. The 30% bonus decays over 5 seconds to 0%, and Cole loses 15% of his max health every second. The creature will revert back to Cole at 5% max health or if the ability is activated again. If the creature reverts to Cole with no control, Cole will be stunned 2 seconds. If Cole no longer has control, the creature can't use abilities. Every point put into Unleashed unlocks any one of three abilities for it. Each ability can only be used once per Unleashed. If the creature dies, all control is lost. Q: Rend Range: 125 Damage(physical):150(+66%AD) The creature tears into the target enemy, causing damage. Rend also deals 5% of the targets max health as true damage. W: Mega Punch Range:150 Damage(physical):350(+75%AD) The creature punches the target enemy at full strength, causing damage and knocking them back 500 units. E: Cloud Toss Range: 130 Damage(physical):300(+50%AD) The creature throws the target, causing damage and sending them airborne for one second. The Creature also gains the unleashed passive, becoming immune to all fears, charms, and taunts, and reducing all healing affects received by 50%. The creature has no health regen.
