I saw this question on Quora and after thinking about it for a little bit I feel like it could be extremely fun.

Imagine playing on a map that is a triangle embedded in a circle. Where the triangle and circle create vertices (intersect) there could be bases/ nexus's and then the jungle could be pretty big. Like a jungle between each team and a jungle in the middle.

More or less, meta would be 2 laners and a jg per team.

Someone commented about teams ganging up against the winning team, etc. I think it would add a great psychology dynamic to the games because now you not only have to worry about the typical stuff but it would open league up for tons of new strategies such as putting a target on your head so that enemy teams over focus your team and fall behind in xp...etc.

Thoughts?

This would be pretty cool. With some modifications to the Nexus Blitz map you could make this happen easily.

The major problems I would see though, is that every objective would need to spawn in the center of the map, in order for no one team to be disadvantaged. That means dragons, barons, vilemaw, or some new thing...? would all need to go smack dab in the middle. Another problem would be certain champions just wouldn't be viable the same way, and would need lots of tuning. Champions like Kai'Sa, Sona, Janna, etc. wouldn't be able to play very effectively as solo laners, and again champions who are squishy will always be singled out and deleted in a teamfight, and champions who are tanky won't provide enough damage and CC to warrant their being played. Finally, there's the major problem with any mode that's not 1v1. Getting ganged up on. Let's say team 1 and team 2 type in all chat that they want to form an alliance, and focus down killing team 3. Team 3 would have an awful time, even if they were better players. Most likely a meta would form where 2 teams join together and beat the same team each game, eventually leading to players just not wanting to queue up for fear of being on the bullied corner. There are ways to avoid this, but it would definitely be something to keep in mind when designing this mode.
