WTB a champion that actually specializes in traps

I know there's a fair number of champs that have one tricky lil trap in their kit for simple cc and/or damage but they're always just gimmicks to support the rest of the kit. I want to see a champion made that can use trapping as their primary tactic and contribution to their team. Dota has a hero that is basically 3 goblins who's entire lives mission is to put stuff down and blow themselves up and I absolutely loved them and their kit (except for maybe the suicide skill)

The reason I haven't offered to champ concept for this is because i've made two different champ concepts for trappers already as I've played lol and I'm not putting that much thought into it anymore until I get some sort of impressive response for it.

That sounds nice and all but it would be a total pain to play against. Even with sweeper disabling traps now it would be no fun to be walking around and be impeded every 3 seconds.

He would make life a living hell for the enemy team up until teamfight time where he has no direct engagement tools.

While it's possible to design a cool kit and then find a champion who fits it perfectly (that's how Orianna was made), Riot's process seems to be using the initial ideas for the kit to influence the art and graphic direction which influences the lore or narrative, with all of those feeding back in on each other.

If you haven't gotten a very excited response from the Boards, it's probably because we've been spoiled by the amazing work Riot has done, and that your posts in the past (I assume) have been paper kits, no graphics or images, and maybe an attempt at some lore.

Also, the other posters here have some valid points, though I still think it's possible to design fair traps that don't need Sweeper to be countered and offer ample reaction time. I personally don't think League should have goblins, but I could see the idea of a goblin-y Yordle champion. But that's part of the design process. Who is this champion? Why do they use traps? What about their visuals strengthens that concept? How does their kit and visuals stand out from others in the roster? Etc. Etc.

put goblin techies in league. techies doesnt cs or lane or push, techies plants mines. we need to put jhin trap cait trap and maokai plants together for his ulti trap, low damage teemo shrooms in his kit 1 that explodes when touched, one that doesnt, and a movement speed buff when out of combat and a way to detonate all of them at the same time. that would make the game super fun

I want the Yul Archer from Lineage 2. Me and my little Kamael there ,were the most toxic trap abusers in the server. That and my arrogant mouth xD

I can see it

"Q Fire trap - Places invisable trap when enemy passes aoe fire dmg"

"W Snare trap - Aoe snare"

"E Ice trap - Aoe slow

Passive : Gains bonus damage per arrow for ever trap effect stacked on the enemy xx + x per level/stack

"R Rain of arrows - shoots a rain of arrows in the given are (Global/channeling ult) dealing xx dmg + AD ration + Trap stack bonus
