[Champion Suggestion] Avarus: The Collector (Fixed problems with picture)

Hey guys, GrimFreak again. I was having technical problems with the last page, so I made a new one in hopes that I won't encounter the same problems. I don't know why, but it wasn't letting me edit the other page. This does include a rough picture of Avarus, I might actually change his name to Avarius or maybe Averynce, considering how similar Avarus and Varus are in name.

P.S. INCLUDES PICTURE! :) (FYI, I'm not the best artist, but I hope the general idea is clear)

For a champion teaser video, I was thinking of showing a black background with gold coins falling from above and jingling into a pile. show scenes of treasures being thrown and heaped and continue flashing to the gold falling from above into an ever increasing pile. Two guards burst through the doors of a large treasury/thrown room. There is gold and treasure fit for a hundred kings, gold falls in columns from the ceiling into piles around the outskirts of the room, adding to the treasury at a steady rate. They drag a a poor peasant by his arms and throw him at the feet of a thrown where a being we do not yet see is sitting. The guards refer to him as his majesty and state that the man before them refused to pay homage for entering the realm. The man begs for mercy, stating that he has nothing, but that he is just a humble farmer. The being in the thrown, whom we see partially from behind stoops down leans close to the man. "Now, now, there's no need for lies. You have a jingle in your pocket, and I... I have come to collect. The man cries out but is drowned out by Avarus's laughter and the screen cuts to black.

Avarus- The collector[

Lore- The being, known as Avarus, is a dark, twisted creature, perverted by by an insatiable, ever growing greed. His very existence is for the accumulation of wealth, the acquiring of luxuries, and the collection of all that shines. Not much is know about this mysterious figure. It is rumored that at one point in time, he was in fact human. Whatever dark energies that flow through him now, whether it is the product of his own hand or by the curse of another's, have all but consumed him, changing his very being into something cold, wretched, and selfish, the hunger that gnaws inside of him driving him to the brink of insanity. For years he has been content to stay within the confines of the Shadow Isles, preying upon anyone foolish enough to enter his domain, collecting golden treasures in hopes of filling his empty heart. But now, He comes forth from the Shadow Isles, drawn out by rumors and whispers, and comes to the place he hopes to make the biggest withdrawal, the League of Legends. The idea of a place filled with the greatest of warriors, wielders of some of the rarest artifacts and treasures, was far too tantalizing for a being consumed by unending greed. He will have it all, Avarus always gets what he wants.

“Money may not be your answer to everything, but it's mine”

-Avarus

Cassification- Mage

Attack damage: 3

Defense: 3

Ability power: 9

Speed: Moderate

Difficulty: Not really sure, I think his playing difficulty would be moderate, maybe high. He has a lot of damage in his Q, and his E provides a decent escape but he is rather squishy and all his damaging abilities are skill shots. His Ultimate might be difficult to land without help from his root ability.

Strengths: Decently fast movement speed Able to escape conflict I feel that his abilities would work well together

Weaknesses: Avarus relies on his ability power He is squishy, especially while his W is on cool down. His Ult may be hard to land on fast moving targets, much like Pantheon's or Zigg's ults

I am also doing a different concept with Avarus. Instead of mana, energy, rage, fury, or anything else, Avarus utilizes a "Wealth Bar" for his ability costs. Similar to mana, Avarus generates wealth over time. When he kills a unit it adds to the wealth bar to fill it up faster, champion kills give a double bonus. In addition to using this "Wealth" to pay for his abilities, his damaging abilities do more damage depending on how much wealth is in his wealth bar. All of this is merely a few of my ideas, I am totally open to input and criticism. His champion gold would have nothing to do with his wealth bar, they would be two completely separate things, the wealth bar is merely his version of spell payment. Wealth fills up faster than mana, but not as fast as energy.

I'm really not sure about the W Ability, I kind of just put it there because I didn't know what else to put. If you have any ideas of an alternate ability that could be his W, I am willing to hear your thoughts.

Abilities: Passive: Wealth- Avarus abilities cost wealth to caste. Avarus generates Wealth gradually over time. Killing units and enemy champions adds to Avarus's wealth bar. Avarus's abilities receive bonus damage and effects depending on how high Avarus's wealth bar is.

Basic Attack: Avarus fires bolts of green energy at his targets from his cane, if his targets are close to him, he hits them directly with his can instead. Both do the same amount of damage.

Q: Emerald Blast- Avarus fires a large green orb in target direction, dealing an initial 50/90/130/170 (+60% of his ability power) magic damage to the first target hit. If the target has 3 stacks of Infectious Greed, this spell applies an additional burn that deals damage according to 7/9/11/13/15% of Avarus's current Wealth over 3 seconds. If Avarus is at full wealth when this Ability is activated, the spell will detonate upon contact, applying 60% damage to surrounding enemiesCost 50/65/80/95/110 wealth, Cool down 9/8/7/6/5

W: Emptiness- Passive: Avarus has an extra 15/25/35/45/55 magic resistance Active: Avarus lowers the magic resistance of target enemy by 15/25/35/45/55 for 2 seconds If Avarus is at full wealth when this ability is caste, it also silences the enemy for 1.5 seconds Cooldown 18/16/14/12/10, Cost 60 wealth

E: Infectious Greed- Avarus may caste this ability 3 times before it goes on cool down. Avarus throws gold coins at target enemy, dealing 20/35/50/65/80 magic damage (+25% ability power) (+10% current wealth) and slowing them by 20/30/40/50/60% for 1 second. This ability stacks up to 3 times. On the third stack the target is stunned for 1.5 seconds. If Avarus hits 3 different targets with this ability it's cool down is reduced by 30%. If Avarus's wealth bar is full he may activate this ability without selecting a target and all enemies in range will receive damage and 3 stacks of infectious greed, stunning them for 1.5 seconds. This ability has a limited range. For clarification Avarus must activate and then reactivate the ability for the stun field effect. If he activates it regularly, he can still target individual enemies. Reactivating without selecting a target, while at full wealth, will cause the stun field. Cool down 14.5/13/11.5/10, Cost 60/70/80/90/100 wealth Stun field cost 25% wealth

R: Weight of Avarice- . Avarus channels for up to 3 seconds, generating a growing mass of gold coins over target location. After the channel, he drops the mass of coins, enemies hit by this take 200/325/450 (+75% of ability power) magic damage and are stunned for .5/1/1.5 seconds. If this ability is reactivated before the end of the 3 seconds, he will drop the mass of coins for less damage (50% base damage at 1 second, 75% base damage at 2 seconds) and enemies are slowed. Must be channeled for at least 1 second before reactivating. If this ability kills an enemy champion, it refunds 25% of it's wealth cost. If Avarus is at full wealth when this ability is caste it stuns regardless of how long it is channeled.
Cost 100/110/120 wealth, cool down 130/115/100

Possible combos: W+Q+E+R- W will lower the enemy's magic resistance, which will give Q more damage, E will slow the enemy, which will make it easier to land R. This would be if your opponent is not quite full health but nearly and you want to try and go for a finishing combo.

E+W+Q- E will slow the enemy, W will lower the magic resistance, then Q will deal damage to the weakened enemy. This would be good if Avarus's ult is down and you just want to do some kiting damage.

E+E+E+W+R- A triple E will stun the enemy for a short period of time, quickly followed by W to lower magic resistance, then strike with R for a finishing move. This would be if your opponent is about half health and you want to finish them without to much hassle.

E+Q+E+E+W+Q- E to slow the opponent, Q to do some damage, two more E's in quick procession to stun, W to weaken the enemy, followed by another Q. This is more or less if you are chasing an enemy and trying to finish them off, or this could also be another in lane kiting strategy.

These are just a few suggestions, I'm sure there are other ways to use these abilities, considering all the circumstances and variables that are present in the average League game.

Riot, what's wrong with your discussion board, it won't show the links in the post, even though it is showing up in Editing process. I'm trying to post a picture and your system is glitching out at me. >:(

Ok, I finally fixed it, like I said, I'm not the best artist, but I hope this gives a rough idea. I want him to looke kind of like royalty or nobility, someone in fancy expensive attire. I'm not sure about the design I laid out, I'm sure it can be improved
