[Discussion] Elune in League

Alune, the twin sister of the gunslinging hitman Aphelios of the Lunari, exists with his kit as an isolated, temple-bound seer that delivers the very moonstone weapons that Aphelios wields in the battlefield. Even with her role so prominently outlined as being far off and away from her brother, I can't help but imagine what kind of champion design that would yield, staying true to the role she has now in Aphelios's lore.
I'd like to open this thread up as a means of brainstorming here. As someone whose favourite champions are oftentimes bearers of the strangest and/or more utility-led designs (Zoe, Neeko, Bard, pre-rework Urgot) I feel like there's some room for some very interesting ideas.
First and foremost, when I think of a champion who's theme is their assistance despite great distances, the thing that I'm reminded of the most is the Heroes of the Storm character Abathur, who sits in brush or behind towers in a cocoon, spawning additional minions from his own location and casting spells off his allies through global-range symbiotes in a similar fashion to our Yuumi. That specific playstyle of extra minion regeneration isn't something I'd like to see take form as I'd rather not inadvertently give the team Alune is pitted against any more additional farm, casting spells off of her allies seems like something that can be toyed with while intentionally steering clear from the ground already tread by Yuumi.
We also would need to find solutions to immediate problems that would arise, such as how to balance her as being a valuable asset to her team, while neither making her influence too strong nor submitting your team to a 4v5 all game. This sort of design almost begs to be placed in the support role, but I'd like to rise to the challenge in making this something you could take on a solo-lane with.
Another issue that comes to mind is making sure that her playstyle doesn't ultimately deprive the enemy laner of any way to counterplay or kill Alune. So making a champion that sits in fountain all game is definitely not in the ballpark. What about a champion whose kit focuses on her being unseen/in the fog of war, but still requires her to be in the immediate area? This would mean that Alune's kit would primarily focus on vision and would see her play around brush and walls in the laning phase. I think the most accurate way to describe what direction this way of thinking is going is to envision an "artillery support" de la Xerath.
I've long since retired from making whole original champion concepts with outlined stats and lore, but I'm still infatuated with this game and am always eager to theorize about giving birth to whole new ways to play the game through design.
Let me know what you guys think.
