Pardon our digital dust as we move some things around

Hey everyone,

Two weeks in to the new boards, we continue to learn more every day about what works and what needs some tweaks. Two of our default boards in particular seemed to be a source of confusion, so we’re doing some reorganizing. As a result the following two boards have been “retired”. You'll still be able to read and write to them, but we won’t be actively supporting them going forward.

We’re replacing those boards with two new discussion hubs that will each get a fresh slate.

Champions & Gameplay

The new Champions & Gameplay board is designed to cover League of Legends as a game. From discussions about your personal strategies, to speculation about the next champion or patch, if it’s about playing the game, it goes here. We got a ton of feedback before this change with questions like “Do I post about Lee Sin nerfs in Champions & Skins or Live Gameplay Balance? What if it’s all junglers? What if I just don’t like Lee Sin?”

We want it to be obvious where your post should go, and splitting off skins, skin ideas, and champion concepts into a separate board, you can now post with confidence in Champions & Gameplay and know that your post won’t get deleted for being on the wrong board.

**Skins & Champion Concepts **

Are you nodding to the tunes of Sona's slick particle updates in her skins? Does Dragonslayer Pantheon's splash art still make your jaw…drop? Maybe you've got the next Pool Party Ziggs up your sleeve and you're here to show everyone. Skins & Champion Concepts is the place to talk about official skins and share your ideas for new skins or new champions. We are aware that Community Creations and this new board feel redundant, but this board includes official skins, while Community Creations doesn’t (unless you’re posting something you made about a released or upcoming skin).

TL;DR: Based on community feedback, we’ve made two new boards to replace the old Champion & Skins and Live Gameplay Balance boards.

While we’ve removed the retired boards from the official list, we haven’t deleted the discussions on the retired boards, so you can return to your old posts if you’d like to keep the discussion going in the appropriate new location.
