(Poll is down)

#After Targon's crushing victory against the magical little yordles, two old winners are taking on each other. Ionia will be clashing against the Shadow Isles in an attempt to join the LoL lore tournament semifinals! https://imgur.com/PyTXCe3

In every match, champions are given an individual tier based on how powerful they are lore-wise (in-combat). These tiers are not official and should only serve as a way to see who would probably be the most powerful champions, so do not take them too seriously. https://imgur.com/qVxiwod

#TEAM IONIA: Ionia is a land of beauty and magic where humans live in harmony with nature. Within the continents's borders live some of the most skilled warriors and magicians Runeterra has to offer. https://imgur.com/Ky6j2Pn https://imgur.com/NAZ8h10

#TEAM SHADOW ISLES: Once known as the Blessed Isles, the land that is now recognized as the Shadow Isles is home to undead sorcerers, hordes of ghouls, mighty fallen warriors and powerful beasts. https://imgur.com/h8GcZkh https://imgur.com/f3pZeo1

Now, I voted Demacia in their match because petricite let them shut down magical creatures. Ionia has nothing like that to weaken the Shadow Isles, plus Ionia basically has no standing army, only scattered marital artists and an angry lady Irelia. so Ionia has no chance in my eyes.

This one was a thought one to decide! I'm personally going to have to go with the Shadow Isles. As much as Soraka can heal and give hope to Ionian troops, I don't think assasins are of much use against undead beasts. Elise has the support of a demigod, and she can control spiders. Yorick can talk to ghouls and spirits and ask them to fight for the Shadow Isles. Karthus kills by singing, and he can't kill his troops since they are already dead. Ionian troops are no match for Hecarim and his elite knights as they aren't as military trained and don't have as much experience.

Also, Ionian troops that are killed can be reincarnated and used against Ionia by the Shadow Isles.

Why is Xayah ranked 1 and Zed 2?

She's shown to be at least on par with him.

Ah this is a tough one O_O

Shadow isles definately have a higher overall quality when it comes to champions.

But Ionia has two ridiculously large dealbreakers, Syndra and karma.

Syndra. When she was still a kid her teacher sealed her to keep her from becoming uncontrollable, when she became a teen she realized it, went to demand an explanation, got pissed off and not only broke the archmage level seal but also broke her teacher at the same time.

While at the same time finding the leisure to have the entire temple complex she was living in elevated and suspended into the air, because what Sovereign doesnt look down upon the world from their castle? x)

The shadow isles greatest weakness is magic, Ionia with Karma, Syndra, Soraka and magic using beings like Ahri actually have a serious shot at winning.

But since we dont have a concrete feeling for Syndra its hard to say, for all we know she might throw a couple of giant boulders down on hecarim, and all the other shadow isles frontliners before going outa steam or she might just start throwing entire moutains around.....and how long a recharge time she has and if others can help her to it faster.

Not sure any army can actually handle that manner of attack, what is a bunch of soul ripping undead supposed to do about a giant piece of rock flying towards them with tremendous speed?

The immaterial ones would be fine if the rock isnt enchanted but the physical ones would all die in a single sweep.

Then we consider that many of the the Ionian matrial artists seem able to utilize some manner of magic or energy in their attacks which would in theory let them hurt basically any undead not in heavy armor like Mordekaiser or heca.

And with a bunch of mages like karma they'd be safe from karthus, at least a lot more than any other bunch would be except targon.

So to conclude,,,,,,, i really cant say for sure O_O

It kinda boils down to how much steam Syndra has in her, and how quickly she can restore herself, she is like the equivalent of a tactical weapon when she gets going much like Xerath or Anivia.

And on second thought, Karma is also a super important piece, for while she is pacifist because she isnt supposed to hurt others and doing so causes her to lose her power.....i dont think that restriction applies when evil spirits come knocking.

A super powered elder adept in all manners of magic with a massive supply of power and she has students and friends ontop? She could possibly drop some manner of magic wave that just straight up "cleanses" all the smaller undead leaving only the elite and the big ones standing.

That or she spams mantra of cooldown with a full power build and causes the bigger ones to explode,,,,,that is probably a thing too.

The Ionians have the Shadow Isles outnumbered.

The Shadow Isles have 5 level 3’s and 3 level 2’s, for a total of 21.

Ionia has 3 Level 3’s, 9 level 2’s, and 6 level 1’s, for total of 33.

That’s a difference of 12, or more than 50% of the Shadow Isles’ total power. Ionia wins.

So does Ahri's magic work on the shadow isles?
