Why does no one like it? I love it personally, it works with everything I know about her. Just can't find the bell, and I distinctly remember her having a bell T-T.
Can someone explain? I love the skin SOOO much but people are always crying about it =(. Do I have bad art taste?
Her face looks bad and makes her look like she's about to sneeze, I don't get the chin, she looks much older, I can't tell if she's running or falling, she looks like a corpse, the tails look like matted carpets, her hair and ears are much better than the first attempt, but still don't look right, and she looks like she's in a swamp rather than an Ionian forest.
I'm nitpicking a lot, downvote if you wish, but I really dislike this art, and don't understand why Riot wanted to force it on us even though we said we didn't like it, and asked for a redo.
The creator of the original splash made one in his spare time for the people that hated the new art or just wanted to see how the design process went, and I have to say, it looks so much better than what we have now.

The current splash fails to represent her true character. She's supposed to be seductive and beautiful.. "charming" you in but the current Ahri looks like she is sad and tired or about to cry. Not to mention they changed the facial structure of the Ahri I came to love in Season 3-4's splash giving her a massive bulging chin (Her square icon of her face on the bottom left in game looks derpy) and also I'm not a fan of messy looking hair. I missed it's long black sleek straightness. I find this art not suiting for Ahri's personality. She's supposed to look more fun and sexy. The link Keevalroy put is an excellent version of how Ahri is supposed to even look like since he is the original creator of her appearance. I will never like this splash for Ahri because while it's "nice" quality it doesn't suit her well.
Consensus: She seems board, her chin needs fixing, and she needs to be less angular.
Alright then, thats my answer. Now if only I could show the art team this (and provide funding) so they could change it. =/ Thanks for your time all =). I gotta know, does anyone remember her bell? Because I do, I miss it, and I can't find it. Is it like the thing with Graves Cigar(removed)?
Her base splash art? I like it too. But not everyone will be happy, unfortunately.
The artist tried to change Ahri's eyes to make her look more 'Asian' but it ended up looking worse then the original re-do.
overall there is *no *personality in the splash: a let down after what we saw of her in "A New Dawn"
I love the background and pose, the face is just what bothers me. Well, used to bother me. I've grown used to it. She just looks a bit bored, and her chin is too angular.
