Ideas for a Quinn mini-rework

i cant move wtf·7/31/2017, 3:19:44 AM·3 votes·403 views

I play a decent amount of Quinn and I think her concept is fun - a flying adc/skirmisher. That said I think she could benefit from a mini-rework to deepen her kit a bit. She has only two offensive abilities making her dueling kind of simplistic and over-buffed on those two abilities to compensate. I like her ultimate, I mean it's what makes her Quinn, but I feel like it might not be the best spot to put it.

Right now Quinn's passive is Harrier: Valor periodically marks a target as vulnerable. Why not just move that onto her W which already has a passive related to harrier and combine the two? Then the passive is open.

Idea for a new passive: Behind Enemy Lines (currently her ultimate) - When Quinn walks in a single direction she slowly gains movement speed, when she reaches 440 movement speed Valor flies down and raises Quinn from the ground, more quickly increasing her movement speed another 50%. Turning makes her movement decay rapidly, especially hard turns, and if she drops below 440 move speed Valor flies away putting her passive on cooldown for 10 seconds.

This would give her even more synergy with Youmous (further making it a core item), since when she pops it she can very quickly get the speed boost from Valor. It also opens up her kit for a new ultimate.

Question for these boards: What do you think would be good for a new ultimate?

I'm not sure myself but I think it should be something she can use in duels/skirmishes.

Thanks for reading!

Interesting, and ideas for the new ult?

The harrier passive added to W i'm for it, but the movement when walking toward a direction feel odd to me. I think something else would fit . And for ultimate, Valor need some interaction in it. Old Quinn was amazing i don't get why they changed it.

Hm. That might be good. I'm not sure she actually needs a new ult, but changing her ult into a passive actually makes a lot of sense.

I like the idea of moving her current ult to her passive and it's one I've had before, but I don't think there's enough power budget on her kit to move Harrier to her W passive and then give her a new ultimate. I think it'd lead to a situation where either Harrier's damage would need to be severely nerfed to compensate, or she'd need a really weak ultimate in order to not push her over the line.
