If Nym takes over, cooldowns are reduced by 5% (This doesn’t allow past 45%) but mana regen from Glim’s passive is removed. Mana Regen through Item’s don’t change.

Best combo: Glim; W-Q-R-E Use your Refreshing Flame, to start your damage, select a weak target and auto attack them, Then use Reform Earth to block their path, and activate it again to slow them. Add another slow by using your Tectonic Movement, to catch them off guard and knock them up. (Make sure you’re within range) Then activate your Gravity Field to get out of any hard CC for those 2 seconds. Nym; Q R E W Use Reform earth to get a slow off all enemies, then follow up with toxic rain, to slow and catch mobile enemies, Cast your Gravity Field, so they are slowed again, letting you cast W and execute the lowest HP enemy, and relieve yourself from some of that Yordleness. Glim is a Control, Damage type Mage. He excels in bursting down low opponents. But can't take a hit to himself, since he starts with 19.2 Armor, and doesn’t get any more naturally. He will need items that deal damage over time like Liandry's Torment, and items that give him some armor like Zhonya's. As Glim you want to be at auto attack range, so you can walk in and ult for CC if you’re team has very little CC.
As Nym, on the other hand, you want to sit in the back, just out of your AA range. This will let you point and drop Toxic rain on unsuspecting enemies that draw too close. As Nym, you want to always have your Gravitational Field open, in case you’re getting ganked, especially in the mid-lane, this way you can slow the enemy jungler before they can get to you. Keep in mind however. You’re going to be waiting about 20 seconds before you can use it again so make sure it’s worth it. Think of Nym as the Support mage, while Glim is more of the Laning mage.
In the game you only get one choice of who you’re going to play as, this choice is prompted at level 1 upon spawning in the fountain.
