Emrik, the Honor-Bound. (CHAMP IDEA)
Lore : Emrik was a warrior all of his life, as was his father and father before him. His father always taught him to fight with honor, leading a life of glory and being heralded as a war hero for saving the lives of his division during a great battle.
Passive- Emrik does not act based on mana, but instead on Honor. Honor is gained by using abilities, killing enemies, and saving allies. His Honor resets upon death, and he loses 50 when he fails to save an ally. Every stack of Honor increases his damage by 0.5%, and Honor stacks cap at 100. (Honor is shown beneath the Health bar.) Whenever Emrik kills an enemy or saves an ally, he inspires his allies, giving them 10/20/30% increased base health and resource regeneration, stacking to a maximum of 3. Lasts 7 seconds.
Q- Cooldown 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Emrik slashes with his sword in an arc, dealing 50/100/150/200/250 (+50% Total AD) physical damage and gaining 5 Honor. Cooldown is unaffected by CDR.
W- Cooldown 30/25/20/15/10 seconds Emrik throws his shield in a line, blocking the first damaging ability or attack. If he saves an ally, (Blocking damage while they are below 40% health or would die to the ability otherwise), he gains 20 Honor. Hitting an enemy stuns for 1 second and stops the shield. At levels 7, 12, and 17, he is able to block an extra 1/2/3 attacks. Cooldown is unaffected by CDR. CANNOT BLOCK ULTIMATE OR AOE ABILITIES.
E- Cooldown 15/14/13/12/11 seconds Emrik rolls in a line in the direction of the cursor. If he dodges an ability during this time, he gains 10 Honor per ability dodged. Cooldown is unaffected by CDR.
R- Toggled ability. 2 second cooldown between switches. Emrik switches between his dual-sword and sword-and-shield fighting stances. (Default sword-and-shield.) While he is in his Dual Sword stance, he is unable to use his W, his Q's cooldown is cut in half, and he gains 75% attack speed and 50 Movement Speed towards his enemies.
Reasoning: Passive - His passive, when fully stacked at max rank, only gives about 2 Crystalline Bracers and 4 Faerie Charms of regeneration for 7 seconds.
Q- Seems balanced, however full AD Emrik could become a problem if he snowballs too hard.
W- His W requires skill to time properly, as it travels fairly fast and can only block a few abilities, rewarding the player with Honor when used correctly.
E- This can be chained with his W for really cool moves. Cannot go over walls but can dodge abilities.
R- He's unable to use his W while in his dual stance form, trading ally security for damage.
Possible Problems -
Full AD Emrik may become a problem if Emrik gets a high enough level advantage, since his base scalings on his Q are quite high. If it becomes a problem, nerf his base damage. If it's still overbearing, increase the base damage but switch his scaling to 100% of Base AD.
Open to suggestions and critique :)
