You know Riot, now seems like a pretty good time to start selling Announcer Packs

You guys are going to lose out on revenue because runes are free and interchangeable, so why not start selling Announcer Packs? With most of the recent skin lines, there was an announcer pack to go along with them. You've even got the old GP one, and you could pretty easily make more, as all you would need is the champion's voice actor. Then you could sell them for only RP, creating another stream of revenue. Hell, you could even create announcer tokens, stick them in hextech chests, and satisfy the people who want free content.

For 10k BE you have a CHANCE at getting a announcer pack but you have a even bigger chance at getting a 450 CHAMPION SHARD

Announcer packs involve paying others to create that content, voice actors for quality packs. That's a negative to their income. As awesome as it would be to have something as freakin' sweet as a Rick and Morty thing like Dota 2 has....I just don't see Riot putting forth the effort or funds for that. And honestly, it's a bad time for them to even consider that as unpopular and unhappy their current player base is right now.

Yes, please.

I for one would love to listen to PROJECT: Ashe call out things instead of the generic announcer.

No thank you. Seeing how they would likely only make ahri, lux, ezreal ones. And not do them for champions high up on the VGUs list (Morgana would likely not get one since her and Kayle are in the high tier for that.) or less popular champs.
