What happened to the Yorick and Taric reworks?

I don't follow posts very often and I happened to be on the lol forums anyway so I feel like asking.

Does anyone know? Based on how most of the other reworks were announced and implemented shortly after I assumed Taric and Yoricks reworks would happen about the same way. Haven't like 3 or 4 champions been released since announcing these reworks? Not to mention the new skins and the announcement of aurelion sol (apparently this guy was in the same boat as taric and yoricks reworks for about 3 years).

In summation, WTF RIOT!? I was really looking forward to the new yorick since he's pretty much an almost forgotten relic and wondering about the changes to taric since I kinda Liked his kit the way it was (pretty much the only tank that plays like a fragile healing support)

Idk about Yorick but I'm sure they're working on Taric. If I remember correctly Taric's rework wont be as big as Sion's rework but a little bigger than Poppy's.

Taric is being released between the next two new champions (after Sol, before the one after him). This means, since Sol will come to PBE one of these days, that Sol will be out a few days in the next patch. Taric will likely be in the beginning of the patch after that, so one week and some later.

Yorick is slated for later in the year, possibly before the Mid Year Mage Update, maybe right afterwards if anything goes wrong.

Taric is coming March or early April. Yorick is coming ~august-november if we're lucky.

Oh ok, sweet. I was under the impression for a bit there that riot fumbled the ball so to speak and walked away, hoping that no one noticed.
