Knowing what champions you have recieved a Hextech Chest on IN CHAMP SELECT!

The title is completely straight forward. Why can't we have indicators in champ select so we know what champions we have gotten chests on, when we can see what champions we have when looking on our account outside of champ select? Now I know it's from the old champ select, but the concept still applies in this following picture: http://imgur.com/oMhpoL1 Riot please, just make things easier, I play the game at the moment trying to get chests, and it's the worst feeling for me to finish a game that I get an S- thinking that the champion I'm playing hasn't gotten me a chest yet, only to be let down knowing my 30+ minutes was wasted. ALSO: I'm really bad at remembering which champions I do and don't have chests on, which is why this feature would help me and im sure lots of other players. This game needs so many small changes to make things easier, I could make several posts about it, this is just one. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs] EDIT: holy moly 181 upvotes! Hopefully this feature IS in the new client :D

I have tons of chests to open, no keys :( Great thought though w/ putting a border or something up in char select that lets you know if you have a chest or not. I try to look before games but can't remember em all. I have 60ish champions :/

May I recommend Gromp from Riot's API challenge? Open the webpage up during or before champ select, search your summoner, and view which champions of yours don't have chests yet. I'll find the link in a bit. Edit: http://riot-challenge.herokuapp.com/

I get so many chests that I'm generally at the point where I'm trying to get an ess on a champion before my new chest is available. You know, for practice.

Champion mastery should be availbe to see in champ select as well, not sure if this is in the alpha or not,

I'm pretty sure they don't want to make it easy to tell which champs you have a chest on in champion select, because they don't want you impulsively picking champions just for the chest. It's fine if you take a couple minutes to check your champion page and decide "huh yeah I had been meaning to try Darius, and I could get a chest to boot." It's much worse if it's your turn to pick and you have no idea who to play and you just pick the first champion you don't have the chest for yet. It's the same idea behind "Don't pick an unfamiliar champion just because it counters your opponent." Chances are you're just throwing away a game on an impulse.

Ive posted about this too. This has to be implemented. Such a simple (appearing) change that would make a world of difference.

I hate getting a really good score on a champ (like going 15/0) and it's not considered an S on an S champion therefore, not getting a chest. Also (sorry for of topic) there was a recent Banner of the Horse ward bug, I want to know if it's been fixed or not! The other day I saw a couple people who were using it so I assumed the bug was fixed but, I still don't have it in my inventory and I know I got the ward from a chest. Sorry for being off topic again but, if anyone knows if the bug is fixed for some or not fixed at all I'd like to know!

This would be really bad for ranked as it would give more reason for people to pick "randoms" wich in turn can make others lose. Much better to have it only on the champ screen where it will show for them wanting to do it and not make people pick champs they never tried at random!

I actually had this exact issue ~ so I made an app.

Hextech Chest Tracker in the Google Play Store.

I'm not a programmer by trade, just learned on the side as a hobby, so be gentle on the app. If you have suggestions for it, and I'll do my best to incorporate things and fix bugs. Just remember, side hobby, not job :) Hopefully you guys find it useful too.

Also, it's only NA right now.. just realized there were other regions. If there's interest, I'll update the app to include the option for other regions.

And sorry for the Apple people.. I have an Android, so I programmed it for an Android phone. I don't actually know what it takes to port it over, and I don't have a device to debug/troubleshoot.
