What if we had a challenge system to unlock legacy champion skins?

Way back when, I remember when once a skin went legacy you could never get it again. Period. However recently Riot has brought back all legacy skins for seasonal events and of course I'm not complaining. Although there were a few skins i had that were valuable and now are not there are many skins i missed out on that i have now. But then i started thinking, instead of just bringing back old legacy skins what if we turned them into challenges or quests. Something like a COD or Battlefield system for unlocking weapon camos or dog tags. So every Legacy skin would have its own unique "challenge line" or "quest line" to unlock it. For example. say I want to unlock Haunting Nocturne, well i would have to complete objectives in order to earn the skin like for example:

-Play 50 games on Twisted Treeline -Get 30 Kills with Nocturne -Get 50 assists with Nocturne -Get a Triple Kill -Kill the Golem 3 Times

After all those steps are complete the skin would then be unlocked for purchase for say 3150 Ip or if Riot wanted too make it an RP cost. and then other skins could have different objectives like "As Leona kill Diana once" etc etc... I just think it would be a fun way to make players more engaged and create a more in depth customization and progression system. You could even add Easter eggs to unlock mystery skins (like actual skins no one knows about) similar to the Phantom program in Battlefield. There is so many cool ideas and ways you could implement something like this into league of legends!

Please tell me what you think!

Legacy have ALWAYS come back, the one you are speaking of is Limited Edition which Riot has decided to do away with for the most part. They did that because the game has grown so much since 2009 that a very very very little percentage of like 3% had some of the skins which were listed as Limited.

The problem I see here is that people would likely start to play in ways that is counterproductive.

For example the "play 50 games on TT" could lead to people playing bad on purpose so that the enemy team wins faster and they get the 50 games faster done. Now you might say "well then lets make it so that only wins count",but that would likely lead to an increase in toxicity as people would be more upset about the loss.

Also: Most limited skins have been already turned into legacy ones(note:limited are the ones who are never supposed to return, while legacy ones do return from time to time),so introducing this system now would be completely redundant as there are barely any limited skins left and changing the formerly limited ones back into these "unlockable" ones would just cause a total mess.

you mean to have unlock-ables in the game for completing goals or achievements, and actually be rewarded for your time? dont you know boy, no games do that, its too hipster, all the main stream games ether make you pay or just giv eyou everything at once.... jk jk I support and upvote pluss a comment for a bump. Good idea sir.
