Champion Concept: Miranda, The Mirror Mistress
#Miranda, The Mirror Mistress
Greetings summoners, I am happy to present to you my third champion concept Miranda, the Mirror Mistress. But before I show you anything, I’d like to talk about how this idea came around. Unlike my previous champion concepts Rema, The Twilight Dreamer and Locus, The Glitch in the System who were based off character archetypes, such as a Hacker and a Sleeper, whereas this champion concept was based off an ability I had in mind which soon lead to the making of the character. I thought about my favorite trickster abilities in game which involved clones. Shaco with his nasty Hallucination, Leblanc with her entrancing Mimic, and Wukong with his nifty Decoy. I love all these abilities with their mechanics and well thought out planning, I thought it would be cool to have a Team Comp where all the teams synergy revolved around their clones. Unfortunately, Bot lane does not have a clone champion. So what better way to complete this dream clone team comp but then to make a support that clones the ally adc. This idea soon lead to the theme of mirrors which lead to the other abilities that revolved around that theme.
#Three Pillars ##D - Mirror Manipulator, Disruptor, (Hybrid Enchanter)

##Tips for Playing As Miranda
- Use Mirror Maze when you miss Glass Prism to redirect the skill shot to give yourself a second chance at hitting it.
- Use Mirror Cloak to hide your ally before using Mirror Image. This way when your ally reappears the enemy won’t have an idea on which target is the clone or the real deal
- When attacking towers you can use Mirror Image to get extra damage on sieges.
- Use mirror maze to trap allies or prevent them from using escape routes.
##Tips for Playing Against Miranda
- Try to break down walls created by Mirror Maze to prevent the efficiency of Miranda’s Glass Prism
- Pay attention to where the enemy champion was last when Miranda creates a Mirror Image, the targeted ally doesn’t disappear when she uses Mirror image so the fake one should be fairly obvious
- When Miranda uses Mirror Cloak, use an ability to shatter the spell shield. Once the spell shield is removed the target she chose will be revealed.
- If Miranda dies the Mirror Image disappears, take her out to remove the fake Mirror Image.
#Narrative ##Biography A daughter of the most prominent Noxian family, Miranda, reawakens to a home she does not recognize. Miranda was raised unaware of the hardships found on Noxian streets but instead lived in a life of luxury. Despite the pleasantries, Miranda took for granted the price for the privileged. Eventually, this ignorance caught up with her, exposing her family's secrets and putting their name in great danger. To uphold her family's status she had to marry a man she did not know and did not love. This man was a war hero to the people of Noxus, but Miranda saw him as a ruthless vulgar brute. Regardless of what she thought, she knew the importance of this marriage and accepted to proceed with it. Little did she know that there were other players at play in this game of sovereignty, and not everyone wanted to see this marriage through.
The night before the wedding a mysterious mage revealed himself inside Miranda's quarters. The mage cast an ancient magic that trapped Miranda inside a mirror nearby. When the moon reached its highest peak in the night sky, he took the mirror and disappeared leaving behind nothing but an open windowsill.
Trapped inside the mirror prism, Miranda feared for her life, uncertain of what the mage had planned for her. In spite of what Miranda had thought, the mage made sure that her prison was as comfortable as possible. The mage treated her with respect as long as she was inside the mirror.
He revealed his name to be Noirel a mage of the Black Rose, who believed Miranda's capture would set in motion events that would determine the future of Noxus. He showed her the injustices her family, as well as the other noble families, had done to Noxus and its people.
The way he spoke, Miranda could feel the conviction in his voice. It was low and melodic, almost lovely. Eventually, she fell in love with the mage and would often help him with issues the Black Rose encountered. Proving herself an asset, she asked Noirel to release her from the mirror.
Noirel agreed that her time in the mirror was long enough as he cast a spell to release her from the mirror. Little did he know that the ancient magic was far stronger than he anticipated. When Miranda stepped out of the mirror's face, it wasn't her that came out. It was a reflection of Noirel's true nature.
Miranda could feel Noirel's deepest wishes and hear his darkest secrets. All the people that suffered in the name of the Black Rose. Despite all this, Miranda did not fear him, because her feelings for him were stronger than any pain. When she reached out to touch Noirel's face, the mirror pulled her back into the glass prism. Noirel looked into the mirror placing his hand on its face. Miranda put her hand under his, trying to feel his touch. The two stricken with sadness cried together after mirror's magic refused to let Miranda go.
From that moment on Noirel committed the rest of his life to the goal of freeing Miranda from the prison he put her in. He visited her every night trying new ways of breaking the spell. From the most violent actions to more subtle ones. Everything he did failed but he refused to give up. Soon word came around to the rest of the Black Rose, that Noirel was distracted. So they sent their newest apprentice, Leblanc, to take care of him.
Years have passed since Noirel last visited Miranda. Just when the isolation drove her on the brink of madness, the face of the mirror spat out a glass molding, that formed into Miranda. The ancient magic that imprisoned her had bonded to her after years of holding her captive. The Noxus she had returned to was very different then what she could remember. The noble families were nowhere to be seen. But a man with birds circling over him, lead Noxus and its people. With the mirror close behind her, Miranda searches for what's left of the Black Rose as well as the fate of Noirel. She will find her way back into Noxian power, whether the people are willing to accept her or if she has to take it by force.

#Final Words For the narrative I wanted to explore the time when Leblanc's faction the Black Rose existed within Noxus. They talked about how Noxian politics was controlled by the noble familes, and Darius's lore spoke that he removed those families violently, unless they were strong and cool like Swain. The art I do myself and although it isn't a masterpiece, I'm slowly learning how to art WOOHOO! For the abilities I always thought of a game with mirrors as a game where you have to angle the mirror in order to get a laser to move in a certain way. I wanted to use that mechanic with my skill shot which is why I added it to the kit. That's it for this month folks, thanks for checking out my champion concept and I wish you all a good day, happy holidays, and happy new year! Can't wait for 2018 CCOS!
Sincerely, The Supreme Taco
