Roles: Support/Jungle

**Passive: ** Little Helpers Gravis does not have her own attack animation, instead the orbs around her make decisions about her targets (they won't attack minions unless specified, and target the closest minion forcing her into melee range to last hit) and deal damage at the end of their 'channel'. Channel speed is initially 1.25 seconds and her movement is slowed by 10% while channeling. Consequently she cannot cancel attack commands nor do stuns or knockups have any effect on her attack rate. Gravis's orbs do not benefit from attack speed, but do gain on hit effects. She designs a new orb every 1.5 seconds (affected by cooldown).

Innovative technology Every 1 bonus attack damage provides .4 ability power. Every 1 ability power provides .3 to .15 armor (this bonus is lower the higher her ability power is)

Q Ability: Replication (Cooldown: 14/12/10/9/8 seconds) (Mana Cost: 90/90/110/110/130) Gravis gains the ability to maintain 3/3/4/4/5 orbs. In addition her channel rate is altered to 1/.85/.72./.66/.60. She can activate the ability to instantly replicate her maximum maintainable orbs.

W Ability: Tractor (Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds) (Mana Cost: 100 all ranks)(Range: 550/750) Latch onto an enemy champion (targeted) and slowly pull them towards gravis at a movement speed of 50/60/70/80/90. Attacks made by her enemy against targets other than gravis (or her ulted ally) inflict 25/30/34/37/39% less damage while tractored. Prevents all dashes and escapes from being activated while it remains in effect, but can be broken by walking outside the tether range. Gravis is slowed by 10% while channeling. Tractored targets will be the focus of gravis's little helphers if in range. Duration 3 seconds.

E Ability: Sentinel (Cooldown: 12 seconds all ranks) (Mana Cost: 0 or 90/105/120/135/150)(Range 650)

Ward type Gravis places a mechanical and visible ward with one hit point(not affected by spells or minions) for a duration of 60/70/80/90/100 seconds that when approached by an enemy champion (range 400, 3 seconds to arm) consumes 1 hit to latch onto that champion causing a decreasing slow of 30/35/40/45/50% over 2/2.5/3/3.5/4 seconds and dealing 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+50% ability power) over the duration. If hits remain, it must rearm before launching another sentinal and multiple instances of this effect refresh the duration (they do not stack). All vision wards placed once this ability have been leveled automatically become sentinels. Sentinels share the ward limit and gain special interaction with the sightstone item. Sightstone: +1 hits, double duration. Ruby Sightstone: +1 hits, can see invisible.

Shield type Gravis places a reactive shield on an herself or an ally champion that absorbs 50/80/110/140/170 (+50% of ability power) that lasts for 15 seconds. The shield charges up to block 25% more damage each second for 4 seconds (up to 100%). Damage to the ally from any source (even creeps) will stop the charge. Once activated the shield expires in 5 seconds.

R Ability: Mass production (Cooldown: 150/115/70) (Mana Cost: 200 All Ranks)(Range 900/3000) Gravis targets herself or an ally champion and after a 1.5 second channel (interuptable) the target gains all her abilities for 5 seconds (tractor, little helpers, sentinel shields) that take effect based on their current ranks and orignate from her ally (kills from the affect result in kills for the ally). The shielding effect continues to reapply itself every second, while the tractor and little helpers target the closest enemy champion. Gravis or her ally are still capable of attacking and using abilities while this is in effect, but gravis moves 25/20/15% slower. Breaking the tether range ends the effect if an ally was targeted.

Appearance: Tall and gangly human female. Very 'bookish'. She wears spectacles along with a smattering of chemical resistant labwear and librarian attire, mishmashed in a rediculous fashion. She has mechanical devices on and around her person. For her weapon she gains orbs that float around her body, similar to syndra. The number of orbs increases with her q rank. (I'm having trouble pinning down her base appearance. Help would be appreciated ^^)

Lore: Gravis Cendwit grew up in the city of piltover fawning over great inventors from the world over, and her crafts had a certain sense of mimicry with her two favourite scientists: Ziggs and Heimerdinger. She applied to the yordle academy multiple times, but repeatedly fell short of the rigid requirements, until she stole schematics from her two heroes and created a semi sentient orb. The demonstration earned her admittance, but she was nearly rejected again after she confessed. Heimerdinger took it upon himself to vouche for her ingenuity and acted as her mentor during her first year.

After graduating from the academy she developed a deep hatred for caitlyns racially descriminating traps and began a one-sided rivalry with her. In secret she has been interferring with her investigations and openly admonishes her (much to her confusion) about her hatred of yordles.

Joining the league both to spite her new rival and demonstrate her genius with techmagery has proven an enlightening experience.

Strengths and Weaknesses

Gravis is very strong against squishy assassins (especially physical damage ones) that rely on blinks, dashes and other quick retreat options, as she can lock them down as soon as they enter range, for her or her team to eliminate. She is also highly resistant to hard CC as her abilities (including her autoattacks) continue to operate regardless of her current condition. Her charging shields and auto attacks allow her to excel in engage lanes by prepping them beforehand and her traps provide safety to her jungle or lane.

Gravis is weak against pet based champions and a heavy front line, as they can forcibly consume her auto attacks, leaving her empty for teamfights on higher priority targets. She also lacks any hard cc or escapes of her own, making soft cc (snares, displacements, roots) or simply faster movement to break her tethers just as effective. As a jungler, she is very weak to invades during her route without proper warning as she may be 'running on empty'.

Playstyle

As a jungler Gravis focuses on attack damage and quickly burns her enemies to shreds and functions best with laners that have hard cc as she lacks her own. As a support she aims to zone her opponents and force them into an unfavourable fight and does well against slippery champions. Her ultimate is extremely strong when it is first obtained and is an almost guaranteed kill to opponents that don't act quickly to stun her out of the initial channel.

In teamfights, gravis is always on the lookout for a squishy target to over extend to lockdown with her tractor, while ensuring she doesn't close distance to waste her own attacks. While on an extended cooldown for the first couple ranks, gravis' ultimate is an important tool for initiation when used on a mobile champion or the team tank, or as a means to thwart an assassination attempt against her squishier allies (or herself!)

Gravis is a very proactive, low skill cap champion, focusing on pre-battle planning and positioning over twitch based reactions.

Champion commentary:

On selection

Only the best machinery for my enemies.

Attacking:

*(when targetting a champion) * You want ME to do that? That's not how this works. My robots aren't that smart! You're going to make me cry.

(when targeting creeps/monsters) If you insist... Go robotics go! Monsters vs Machines! I'll uninstall if this fails.

Movement:

Yup! Destination confirmed. This is so slow. Note to self - Petition a tank Some rocket boots sure would make this faster (if Rumble is in the match) Wish I had a robot suit

Taunts:

Taunt(normal) Which of these machines to use today. I prefer my enemies in small parts.

When taunting Syndra : Magic vs Machines. I like it!

*When taunting Heimerdinger or Ziggs * I could never taunt my mentor! May the best yordle win!

*When taunting Caitlyn * I have a cupcake for YOU caitlyn How does homocide feel sherrif?

Jokes:

Joke when near Caitlyn (if any traps have been placed.) I think I see a trap over there. Why don't you step on it cat?

*Joke when near Orianna or Syndra * There's way too many balls here. .. wait..

Joke (normal) Whats the difference between a library and a bar? Seriously you don't know? That's a shame.. I was just starting to like you. Oh you thought it was a joke... I don't do those.

Skin Ideas

Dr Roboto: Gravis is inside a rumble robot. Her weapon is a shoulder mounted minigun. Special interactions with Rumble and Tristana.

Officer Gravis: Gravis is outfitted with a uniform similar to caitlyns. Her trap sentinels are officer badges that apply fines. Special interactions with Vi and Jinx.

R'Evolutionary: (Special skin) Gravis gains cybnernetic skin grafting based on her bonus ability power and her attack channel slowly turns red -> white -> Blue based on her bonus attack damage. Her weapon is a hovering laser beam, and her sentinels flash yellow->green or red for shield or trap respectively. Special interactions with Viktor.

Hey there! I love the champion concept, I'd love there to be an engineer champion on the rift. It'd be cool if Heimer had someone to build cool things with, and Gravis certainly look the type.

Passive: Definitely a unique passive here. So are you saying that this passive acts like Ahri's Fox Fire (W), where it automatically targets enemies and fires at will? By you saying, "Gravis does not have her own attack animation", are you implying that Gravis' auto attacks are replaced with this passive? If so, I would strongly suggest giving Gravis some control on when/where she can shoot these 'Little Helpers'. In fact, I'd go far enough to say that this passive alone has great potential in making a fun ADC that has a cool resources system or something of the sort. I'd love to bounce ideas off you if that's the case

Q (Replicate): An interesting ability, which further hints at an ADC-like design (or at least an AP enhanced autoattacker). Are you saying that without this ability active, whenever her 'Little Helper' is channeling for a detonation (1.25 sec), she can't move? That's a little extreme. I'd say that she should have no movement reductions when her 'Little Helper' is channeling, and when this ability is active they should have their channeling time reduces in half.

W (Tractor): I'm confused with this ability. How on earth can they break the tether if they're being pulled toward them? It's beyond a 100% slow. And a targeted ability to boot? Sounds extremely hard for the enemy to get away, unless they're tristana or alistar. And what's the point of adding the interactino of being able to 'slowly' pull your ulted ally toward you?

E (Sentinel): My favorite ability of this champ. Very well designed for both the ward and then shield. Nicely done

R (Mass Production): How does this ultimate work? How can your ally have their set of abilities and yours? Do they lose theirs? That'd be kind of useless sometimes to be honest. I'd strongly suggest revising this ultimate if I were you.

A very cool concept. Keep up the good work! I'd love to hear your responses
