Lore Nurk is a Noxian Sorcerer. He was born into a noble line of warriors, but had shown an innate ability to use magic. His parents left him to a hired tutor off in some weird place. This tutor owned a massive library with books on all kinds of magics. Nurk has been filled with curiosity from a young age but in this place, this thirst for knowledge, for the unknown, might be sated. The tutor respected that every mage had their calling, so he taught Nurk the basics of magic and left him to discover his own pathin the library. Nurk found interest in books of the void, of the shadow isles, and other dark secrets. He figured that all the tales he heard of beings of these places we terrifyingly strong and knowing their strengths, mastering them was what he wanted to do in this library. Mysteriously enough, the library did have books on the void, of its nature, of its beings, its powers, its magics. Nurk filled with desire, read these books, and overtime, came to understand the workings of the void. Obviously, the void doesn't have sorcerers that have magic alike those that noxians use, or any humans in fact. But there were ways to manipulate the voids with magic. There were ways to merge with the void, to summon void creatures, to manipulate the void. Nurk began experimenting with thesepowers, applying the knowledge of the void, with the teachings of his tutor. All of his attempts had fizzled to nothing. Not achieving the goal yet not having major consequences. One fateful day, His magic, it started to work, he could see that his magic circle was glowing deep purple, the ground started wobbling, the walls started melting, then everything blacked out. merely few seconds later he woke up to a purple creature, this being was not one of malice, not one of wrath. This creature was his saviour. The legendary human whom walked the void and lived, Kassadin. With ambition overflowing, curiosity flowing he looked at Kassadin, Kassadin looked back at him and new he wanted to learn and told him the void was dangerous. He told him not to control the void. It is impossible to tame chaos. What Kassadin could do wasngive him a void stone. Kassadin told him to draw power from the void stone use it to empower his magic. He told him there were dangers holding the stone as it would attract void creatures. Such things won't stop Nurk from fostering his ability to control powers of the void. This is something he couldn't give up. With his history as a warrior, his innate ability to use magic and his understanding and control of the void, Nurk fights for Noxus on Summoners Rift.

Base Stats WIP (Don't know enough about Base stats)

Abilities WIP Include Ability description, any variations and my thoughts on the ability.

P: Battle Mastery Alive in Battle: Originating from a noxian line of warriors, Nurk thrives with the deaths of his enemies, gaining 20% of his missing health on every Kill or assist. A Love of Battle: Upon kill or assist, Nurk also gains 20 armor and magic resist until out of combat. Stacks. or Upon kill or assist gain 20% damage reduction for 1.5 seconds. %s Stacks (5 seperate cooldowns for each stack)

**Q: Void orb ** Active: Nurk Fires an orb of Void energy in a straight line, damaging the first enemy hits for 30/70/110/150/190 (+0.5 ap) magic damage Mana cost: 40 CD: 8.5/7/5.5/4/2.5 seconds

Thoughts Main Damage ability. Pretty much Urgot Q with different numbers and AP Scaling. Thinking the lockdown/cast time of the ability is low. fairly low range ability on par with AA range (550 range give or take) I'd say max first.

W: Portal Passive: Nurk gains charges upon casting spells, once Nurk has casted 7 spells, Nurk can use portal. Active: Nurk blinks 350 units towards the cursor. Mana cost: 60/65/70/75/80

Thoughts Kassadin what now? A blink and a charge system that stacks with spell casts? This ability has a fairly short cooldown which is why it is barred by the charge system. If you want to cast Nurks Portal off cooldown you will need to spam spells. Which is easier done with more cooldown reduction. Anyway in a skirmish or 1v1 when you are spamming abilities later in the game it should always be ready off cooldown.

E: Breakdown Active: Nurk Destabilizes an area for three seconds, slowing people in the area for 40/50/60/70/80% and deals 160/240/320/400/480 (+1.2 ap) magic damage over the three seconds. After 1.5 seconds of the area being destabilised, champions are rooted for 1.5 seconds. Mana cost: 80/85/90/95/100 CD: 16/15/14/13/12

Thoughts Zone control, wave clear, cc whatever you want. This functions similarly to a soraka e but damages like morgana w. It has alot of damage. This has decent range but isn't as powerful on Nurk due to the short range.

R: Chain of the Void Active: Nurk Chains a champion for 2 seconds, dealing 300/450/600 (+1.0 ap) magic damage over the duration of the chain. If the tether has not been broken for the two second duration, the champion that Nurk chained is suppressed for 1.5/2/2.5 seconds. Mana cost: 100 CD: 120/100/80

Thoughts This spell is what makes this champ better for skirmishes and 1v1s. Being able to cc the enemy with a point and click allows for more ease in managing the rest of Nurk's kit. While i believe that Nurk isn't Azir level difficulty, I don't want his kit to be overloaded with skillshots, mechanics and situational power.

Nurk The void Magus Current Terms his class is: Primary: Mage In League's Sparkling new class lingo: Class: Mage, Subclass: Battle Mage

Gameplay Nurk is a mid range battle mage that wants to kite his enemies and would excel in pursuits. Nurk would be most effective in mid and top. Nurk is lategame champion. Being able to get rylais and q spam for perma slow. it isn't targetted so catching a champion out will guaruntee a kill if Nurk is stronger. E is good for waveclear and believe that it could be maxed second. This is because Nurk's w gets better as his cooldowns get lower. All abilities get lower cooldowns when ranked up.

Items item 3116 is fairly core in my opinion. item 3070 and item 3027 are good stacking items that increase his mana lategame for more spam. item 3070 > item 3027 > item 3020 > item 3116 > item 3285 > item 3089 This has mana but no cooldowns, while this build has less mana. item 3070 > item 3165 > item 3116 > item 3020

There's some potential for this character. A Noxian mage is a difficult type of archetype to create, though. In all 3 of the mages we've seen out of Noxus have had really unique kits and playstyles. Katarina's playstyle revolves around her knife setups, Leblanc is an assassin that confuses her enemies and then bursts them to hell, and Swain is a general who controls the battlefield with sustained effects.

Lore-wise, the identity of Proud Noxian Warrior clashes with mage pretty hard. Noxus does have mages, but your character isn't very unique. You could definitely play up that fact, or instead of making him go full-mage he could use magic to enhance his already-existing combat style. Doing that would require a pretty big overall change to the character, though. On top of that, this is sort of a personal thing, but I'm not a big fan of canon characters mixing with fan-made characters unless it's well done. And Kassadin sorta just... appearing out of nowhere... isn't really doing it well.

Nurk isn't as compelling as any of the Noxian AP carries. His abilities don't synergize very well, none of them play off of each other or really interact with each other well. I'm also assuming that he's meant to be melee? Spellsword-type mages are hard to nail down, but they tend to be assassins.

Nurk's passive should probably be the health+mana restore after killing a champion, but that's boring, but with a name like "Battle Mastery" it seems like added MR and Armor would fit better, but Nurk is supposed to be a mage, not a tank or bruiser. On top of that, I feel like assassin's shouldn't really get health and mana restores after killing their targets and regaining health after a kill doesn't really fit the character's lore, either.

The Q is boring, flat-out. I'm not sure what else to say about it, as it doesn't really do anything beyond just being a line-skillshot nuke. Let's take for example Ezreal's Q, which is the most similar thing I can think of off of the top of my head. It's just a skillshot, but it reduces his cooldowns on the rest of his abilities by 1 second every time it hits and it applies on-hit effects. I'm not saying you should copy it, but Ezreal's Q compliments his kit and makes him a stand-out champion because of it. On top of that, his Q is his only straight up damage, while his E and R are both damage over time abilities.

The W is pretty much the same thing. Given that his abilities are meant to be spammable, you could get this up pretty often, but it's just a blink. It doesn't do anything besides reposition himself, chase, or escape. I don't see why you'd pick Nurk over other characters that do what he does but better. Kassadin, or Ezreal do what Nurk does but better. Also, it's shorter than Flash. You could justify it being further than Flash easily.

The E is probably the most interesting ability you have, but also makes it seem strange because of how unique it is. I don't see how it fits into his kit at all, besides setting up for an easy kill.

Your R is pretty much the same thing. It's interesting, but the rest of the kit holds it back. I'm also not sure if you meant suppression or stun, because every suppression CC in the game also requires the champion casting it to be leashed or attached to them in some way. Your ulti breaks and then suppresses, leaving Nurk free. Suppression is the hardest form of CC in the game and pretty much all of them carry pretty big risks. Malzahar and Urgot suppress themselves, Vi dives directly into an enemy team and Skarner, preferably, picks out the most dangerous enemy champion he can grab. If Malz and Urgot are out of position, they get destroyed. If Vi and Skarner don't have follow-up, they get destroyed. If you want it to suppress, it's gotta also carry a risk greater than Nurk having to stay within range of his target for 2 seconds.

Basically, you have a good base, but not a good build up. Other characters do the same thing that Nurk does but better, and Nurk doesn't necessarily offer anything that would make me consider picking him over, say, Kassadin. His character archetype itself, a warrior who discovers latent magical abilities, is interesting by itself, but the way its executed feels a little flat. Kassadin's insertion into his lore feels really random, and I doubt he'd hand some random beginner mage an extremely powerful magical artifact just because. And, uh, Nurk isn't a very Noxus name. But that's just me.

Anyways, I hope none of this sounds super rude or anything, I'm just trying to be honest, because you have a good idea that just doesn't go very far. I hope you take this feedback well, and use it for this champion or your next.

Good luck in the CCOS.
