I've finally got around to buying a few skins and just discovered the snowdown shop discounts. A couple of the skins I'm on the fence about buying which made me wonder if Riot has considering setting up a way for players to try a skin out in a mock game like the training matches just to try the skin out for yourself instead of looking up vids online and guessing if you'd like them from that.

Love these guys. I never buy a skin without looking it up here first. ^-^ (they're a channel that shows off the in-game skins)
Avos Folly1 votesI actually viewed them before making this post but I'd still like to try and feel the skin out on a few minions and maybe a bot.

Ah I getchu. Sadly Skinspotlights is the closest we're gonna have for awhile, but if there was a trial feature I'd use that shit all day every day.
Maybe we could rent skins for a shitload of IP SMITE style? So people with all the champs can burn it on something.
shark music1 votesI don't miss much about Heroes of the Storm, but their thing where you can try out skins in the shop before buying them is fantastic. I wish Riot would do something similar.
Avos Folly1 votesThat's kinda where I got the idea from but didn't want to go with the whiny 'but someone else has it' excuse :P
