Trundle needs a weakness

To get it out of the way yes I'm a whiny silver 3 trash player who just needs to get good or quit.

Just give him an actual weakness other than being melee. That's all I want. I know if he doesn't manage his mana well in the early game or if he's just not smart with his ability placement he's screwed but that's not a champion weakness that's a player weakness. I can't count on my opponent sucking. He can play a passive game build super tanky and out trade a whole team after he's done nasus level farming or he can go full tard on you in lane with every champ in the game losing that duel and there's no real trade off for going with either playstyle aside from game length.

I can't really point to one thing to bring him in line simply because he has no real weakness so please anyone who matters find him one and then try to balance him from there.
