All the way back in May, I was bored with no new champion releases, so I figured I'd make my own. Since then I've discovered something I'm passionate about: I love making champions, and exploring the untold stories of Valoran!

These are my first concepts, I've made some mistakes, I've done some things right, but I've always learned something new each time! One thing's for sure, I couldn't have done it without you guys, your support and feedback equally inspired me as the concepts themselves, and for that I thank you!

I've also included music I listened to while making them, I encourage you to read the concepts with the corresponding playlist ;)

#Gnarr, The Harvester

A dark creature imprisoned for unknown reasons emerges in prehistoric Valoran, disappearing into the shroud of myth and legend, waiting and biding its time.

Until now.

Gnarr stems from a personal fear of mine, as a child I always thought something was watching me in the dark. Now, I might get an occasional twinge of fear, if only because no matter how far I push it back, Gnarr is always waiting for me.

I mainly uses horror ambient, unnerving tunes to help with the lore and with the kit. My first and most popular champion concept.

#Sangrin, the Drifting Storm

**A golden sun leers through the copper clouds of sand, its piercing gaze finds a man amidst the storm, staring back with weary intent. He stood tall, not proud, a jaded blade resting lazily on his shoulder, dusty eyes wandered aimlessly among the dunes. Thoughts fled into the wind, too tired to will them back, he solemnly watched them beckon him forward. Perhaps one day he could catch up with them, when life had reached a quieter bend. A bitter taste, he imagined, to not return. With a mountainous sigh he gathered, it was time to leave. **

Sangrin to me represents the ultimate feeling of solitude, lost among the dunes. I mainly used desert ambient, trying to get the feel of the desert in his theme and kit. The other songs in the playlist are what I used to help write the lore (Check out Brand X Music- The Grid, I used it exclusively and it fits Sangrin well).

Sangrin has the most songs, probably the exact feeling he gives is really hard to put on one song.

#Maud, the Zaunite Spitfire

Oh I don’t know what it does, because I don’t care. You see a door, you kick it down, it’s my job. Now give me the damn suit!

I felt like I undershot the kit, so this champion is not my best work. Some might still enjoy her though, I was going for the action movie grandma, and if you're into ridiculous stuff like that then by all means check it out.

I learned a lot from Maud, if only that I need to make higher quality posts.

#Kawpra, the Kumungu Devil

You think you're safe, here? Even the trees will kill you, and that's if you're lucky.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6wBgqqX_BE

That's all I used, it really just did everything for me :)

I had a lot of fun making a man-eating plant monster support, and I think people agree, as it is my second most upvoted concept behind Gnarr! I highly recommend you check it out!

#Han, the Resolute

Silence in the waves

The storm is near, shadows fall

Dark tidings approach

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h8sq5YCXGsE&list=PLWp4WLvxHal-R-B73XGcnDMIjsXvSNzg7&index=1

Han was a fun story to tell, and I really had fun making him. He didn't get as much steam as I would have liked, but I wouldn't change a thing.

You like AP fighters? Then Han is for you!

It's been amazing to work with you guys, and with school I can't make as many champions as quickly as I would like (With the already huge gaps in between), but I want you all to know I appreciate you, and that this is just the beginning!

Huge shoutout to Hazil the Nut, whom I bounced a ton of ideas off of! He really helped shape what these champion (concepts) are today!

Would also like to make a shoutout to Ryonok (Randy Toroni) for this awesome artwork of Gnarr:

It's absolutely incredibe, and it really gave Gnarr the justice of proper artwork that he deserved! I'm also working closely with him in the future for creature concepts, if you would like him to do a commission, here are his links:
