It already doesn't make sense that he's using a shotgun with a drum magazine which has multiple rounds in it, yet can only shoot 2-3 at a time before reloading. It would make more sense if he had a sawed-off double barrelled shotgun. Even the mafia called double barrelled shotguns Luparas.

There are tear gas rounds that can be fired from shotguns, as well as incendiary or grenade rounds (experimental)

yes, but he uses a shotgun; not a submachine gun.
Old graves it was okay that he had a weapon with a drum mag that resembles a thompson submachine gun because he didn't have a reload system with two rounds
new graves is shotgun-based, so it makes no sense that he only fires 2 rounds out of a drum that has like 12 in them

I'm not saying that shotguns don't have drum mags
I'm saying it's nonsensical that Graves is using one but only fires two rounds and reloads them. If I were him and I was looking to kill Caitlyn I'd unload all my ammo at her and reload at the fountain.
That knife is just showing off how ridiculous you can make something. It would fit the aesthetic of the "mafia" skin if Graves was using a sawed off shotgun, and it would make sense tactically (because he can only load 2 rounds so he would need to reload more frequently.)
