[Champion Concept] RIDDLEZ, THE CARTOON VARMINT
Do you love Amumu? Of course you do. Why do I bring this up? Well Amumu is what I like to classify as a small tank champion. Why is Amumu sad? Because he has no small tanks along side him! I mean yes you have Gnar (who is not classified as a tank btw) and Rammus. But Rammus looks like a tank. Amumu looks like a mummy. He just has a big head. My point is this, I am tired of these massive tanks flooding the lanes. In a team fight against an enemy Sion and all you can click on is him. It is time to create a normal sized tank that does not draw away from what a tank should be. How will this be done? By using the loving idea of CARTOONS! In the words of the Joker, "AND HERE WEEEEEEE GO!" (also this is a repost. I added alot of new stuff and since the post was getting to the bottom of the pile. As kids, and adults, everyone loves cartoons! They are the perfect concept for a champion. At least their criteria are. So here is a concept of a champion based out of the realm of cartoons! But before I dive in, basic cartoon knowledge
- Cartoons cannot die.
- They are a nuisance/pain in the butt.
- They are cartoons. Enough said.
If you know your anime, or whatever you classify Yugioh as, you will recognize this cartoon rabbit! There is also the famous Bugs Bunny. However both dark toon rabbit and bugs bunny are the background or the root of this champion concept.
ABILITIES Riddlez abilities will strive off of AD and one ability will strive off of Armor and Magic Resistance (his ultimate).
Innate Ability- CARTOON LOGIC!: As Riddlez casts abilities, he gains a Toon Stack. Max of 4. The more stacks he has, the less damage he receives. The stacks last for 3 seconds. (or may increase upon leveling)
Q- Whack a Mole!: Riddlez jumps and slams a hammer (foam hammer like in whack a mole or a toy hammer) down on target enemy minion or champion. The collision sends a small vibration out dealing less damage to surrounding enemies. (he will not be carrying a hammer, not trying copy Poppy, he will just pull it out when he activates it. He will jump in air and slam it down with legs in the air and split, like you would see in a cartoon). Cooldown- 10/9/8/7/6. This ability will be AD. Target enemy will take 50/100/150/200/250 physical damage (+140% AD) Surrounding enemies will take 30/45/60/75/90 physical damage (+65% AD)
W- Anvil Suprise!: Riddlez drops an anvil at target location. Stunning enemies if directly hit and slowing enemies in a radius. _This can help Riddlez as an escape or engage. And in team fights, the CC will help. Cooldown possibility- 12/11/10/9/8 _ AD ability Enemy directly hit will take 60/80/100/120/140 physical damage (+50% AD) and stunned for 1 second. Surrounding enemies will take 20/30/40/50/60 physical damage (+25% AD) and slowed by 25% for 2 seconds.
E- Cannot Catch Me!: Riddlez spins in a circle (like Tazz from Looney Toons) and dashes to a fixed distance. Damaging and knocking back any champion along the way. _This is Riddlez primary escape. Due to the damage and knock back, this ability will have a high cooldown (probably looking at 20/16/12/10. Maybe higher) _ AD ability Enemies hit will take 20/40/60/80/100 physical damage (+25% AD)
R- Toons Cannot Die!: For 3/4/5 seconds, the next enemy ultimate that damages Riddlez will return up to full damage to that enemy champion. _Now if Riddlez has TOON STACKS, he will take less damage. This ability will also use Bonus Armor stats and Bonus Magic Resistance stats. Depending on the enemy Ultimate, AD or AP, based off Riddlez stats, he will return more damage to enemy champion. (so if say, Jinx Ults Riddlez while Riddlez Ults, and Riddlez has 100 bonus armor, and Jinx has only 50 bonus, Riddlez Ult will ignore 25 armor of Jinx). I know that may seem confusing but I hope I made it clear.. ish. _ Currently unsure how the stats will be for this ability.
His Basic Attacks will just by physical hits from his ears. So with this in mind, we can imagine him having some large goofy ears.

Riddlez will be a manaless champion.

Attack: 6 Defense: 10 Ability: 0 Difficulty: 6 or 7
With his stats and abilities, Riddlez is design to do a little less damage than Sion. The view of him can be broken down to 60/40, maybe 70/30. Where the 60 is tank and 40 is AD. When building Riddlez, creating either a tank to survive in lane and teamfights and make a stronger Ult can be built. Or an AD Riddlez that is still tanky-ish, but can hit fairly hard. Or a hybrid version. However with the stats, I hope to make them so that it forces the player to go one way or another. Not sitting on the fence. A hybrid Riddlez can be strong but not exceptional as a one-sided Riddlez.
Well here is RIDDLEZ! A cartoon champion. He designed to be a tank with decent cc. In lane, Riddlez looks to his Q to farm and harass. W and E to escape or assist in ganks or teamfights. And his R is set to be a pain in the butt in team fights. Now before I read that his Ult may be OP, unless your argument is actually legit, there are more OP champs and Ults. Plus the short 3-5 seconds really comes down to the players timing abilities. And Riddlez ult is only set to target a single champion and it is the first champion Ults he receives. So in a crazy teamfight, their really isn't a way to properly time a specific enemy Ult.
The image provided is from a tv show and card game. I just used this to give a general idea of what this champion can look like. It is a cartoon, so hey MAKE HIM PINK! A pink rabbit. And then for skins you could do a zombie rabbit or even Chrome Pack him with a white rabbit, black rabbit, etc.
I hope this catches the attention of a developer or person who may want to make this happen! Overall, I am tired of large screen spaced tanks. Amumu needs a little tank buddy! (yes there is Gnar and Rammus, but still. Gnar gets big and Rammus naturally looks like a tank.)
