Maybe it's just me, but I've always felt like Yasuo's character is straight from a really cool anime (which is definitely not a bad thing, as there is many skins and characters that pay respectable nods to certain archetypes of characters). With that being said, it'd be really cool if Riot could add 4 more (for a complete set of 5) characters that are anime-based as Yasuo, with their voice actor even being an anime voice actor.

..it's covered more than sufficiently already.
Neamean2 voteslol Vel'Koz eh
salvaro1 votesAside from Akali and Zed, these don't look like Japanese characters. That said, those 2 aren't as heavily anime-based as Yasuo. The dude's powers have already even appeared in an anime i bet, with probably a similar story, along with other swordsmen with other exaggerated powers.
Cindikle1 votesNever really considered him all that anime-ish.
A lot of Asian ninja live action movies fit him better than anime.
Deep Terror Nami1 votesI'd agree if he didn't have the big ass shoulder armor that any samurai not named Shredder would approve of in live action
salvaro1 votesGotta completely disagree with you. Anime fits him perfectly imo, I could easily see Riot adding 4 more characters that all use swords of varying sizes, completing a concept that many animes use. I could already see it now, the 5 legendary swordsmen, all characterized by distinct nicknames, as they already have the 'wandering swordsmen'
Hatless Casual1 votesBasically the anime he came from: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFOhCmPvsg4
Rito Jericho1 votesSengoku Basara... An anime that I REALLY want to try watching, but I've had NO luck with being able to find it so that I CAN watch it.
Hatless Casual1 votesThat sucks, a buddy of mine got a box set with the whole series and the movie and if you can find it it's worth the watch.
NONCEHUNTERS1 votesI've always thought
was pretty anime.
Inconspicuous/badass little girl wielding power rivaling that of the most powerful mages/wizards/whatever you want to call them in the world. Maybe that's why I'd already decided to main her before I'd even finished downloading the game back in s2.
