How about letting us use leftover RP to convert to IP purchases?

Shower thought for the day. Was playing some clash and needed some extra dark elixer for an upgrade, low and behold I have some spare gems so why not just purchase them instead of having to wait? Pretty nice option!

Now how about implenting that for League? You have 4700 IP, you really want to purchase Draven, because, well, its Draven! Instead of playing 2 games, wouldn't you like to use that leftover 23 RP thats been sitting there doing nothing for what seems like an entire season?

Basic math shows a 4800IP champion is worth 880 RP at regular price. Essentially saying each RP for this champion is worth 5.45 IP (or 5.5 for basic rounding purposes)

You need 100IP, so that means it will cost you 18.18RP (call it 19 for rounding purposes) to purchase the remainder 100IP to purchase the lovely Draven!

Now you don't have to wait! You can experience the best ADC in the game and you soaked up 18 of your 23 RP thats been sitting collecting dust! Ty riot!

This would of course alternate for whatever champion you are purchasing as the RP to IP scale differs with 6300,4800,3150 Champions.

This won't work because people would use this to buy runes. Riot doesn't sell power, you earn it.

Riot is against letting people buy their way to victory. And by against i mean theyre so far in that camp itd take Sephiroths meteor to displace them. People would use it to purchase runes so thats a no go. You can already turn rp into ip anyways. Just buy an ip boost and play the game.

Edit: Though i understand what you mean it will never be implemented.

I think it'd be a good idea if it's below a certain thresh-hold. Like if you can't buy literally anything with what you got.
