Client is crashing post-champ select no matter what I try to do. Hope you find a fix soon, felt bad that I just gave my teammates a 4v5 to deal with.

Hey!

On PBE it looks like things were working with no issues, we had folks testing it there. (Testing on PBE is better than testing in-house 'cause it's a cooked build, and more similar to what we would push to live) Based on that, we were fairly confident that this issue would be resolved.

However, that doesn't appear to be the case. (Obviously.)

From what I understand, we will be making a post in Help & Support soon, looking for more information from you guys to help us figure out what the heck is going on. In addition, they should be giving an update with any additional information we have on our end.

(Again, c/p for visibility)

Hey Summoners,

For y'all who are still experiencing these problems after the 6.8 patch, could you please provide:

  • Your system specs, in particular: -- OSX Version -- GPU Model -- CPU Model and Speed -- RAM

  • Are you still experiencing both the audio-corruption and in-game performance issues?

I think Riot has shown that they care about Mac users just about as much as they care about Yorick.

We have been constantly asking for updates

And that's everyone's freakin problem! Do you realize how many effing posts there are regarding this? All of you just flood the boards instead of giving one post a crap ton of upvotes. If it were me, I would ignore all of you and reply to just ONE thread. I don't know how Katey does it, but she seems to have the patience to not be annoyed by how many whiny babies we have here. Very few of you act like adults and it is depressing.

In my opinion, all of you just want the "achievement" of having a Rioter comment on your post. You don't get anything for it! No RP/IP/LP...nothing!

Seriously, none of you seem to read the Red Tracker. Easiest place to find answers from Rioters is there! They have responded to this issue days ago. Learn to research.

Did the mage update come?

Every. Single. Patch... There are people crying about mac issues.

May I suggest a radical solution which may solve your problems; a real pc? Just think about it.

Just don't play on a Mac. Why would you do that to yourself anyways...

Can update: the audio and frame rate drops during teamfights has gone away somewhat. It's still there but not nearly as bad as before. I have put my graphical settings back up to medium for now to test everything and it's actually playable again (before I was forced to use very low or the frame rates would drop drastically out of nowhere), the frames on medium are around 40-60 which is roughly 20 frames less than I used to be able to have on high-medium so it's still not great but it's at least working. The major problem now is that there is lag/bug that happens periodically where the ping and framerate does not drop, the game just ceases to respond to player movement or buttons while everything else seems to be running normally. Please continue to work on these bug issues for Mac users, Riot. Thanks.

For the record, I was having problems with patches 6.5-6.7. This latest patch (6.8) seems to have corrected everything I had previously been experiencing.
