Can we get karthus a siren? Or a banshee? Or an overlord? Or some other kind of death ghost thing that allows me to believe that he's more than a lonely figure that has no friends or enemies. Does he talk to anyone like how certain characters acknowledge each other?

Anyway point is without reading the lore you can't really tell. In game though everyone knows about draven and Darius Darius and garen garen and Kat vi and Caitlyn Caitlyn and jinx etc etc. The only thing I've ever heard karthus say is "a tear of loss a tear of joy" "host of angels or murderous crows" "join my choir" etc etc. Never anything like "our choir could use a bit of music" when sona dies or "revenge is something to sing about" when killing kalista.
