No longer the deserter. Sorry I have no concept art. This is all subject to change.

Cain- The Betrayer (V. 2)

Description: Male, Uses a rifle, Evil looking (from Zaun), Headpiece covers one eye and has a futuristic looking eyepiece over the other. Very mysterious soldier kind of look.

Passive (Tracer bullets)- The first shot of every new magazine also applies a "tracer" effect that will briefly reveal the targets location every 5 seconds for the next 20 seconds.

Q (Reloading!)- Cain randomly takes an 10-shot magazine of either Piercing, Poison-tipped, or Freezing bullets. Reloading will take 2 seconds during which Cain cannot attack. after depleting the 10 shots Cain will return to using normal auto attacks. -Piercing: Basic attacks will go through one enemy, dealing reduced damage to the next enemy hit. -Poison-tipped: Basic attacks apply a poison to the target dealing (x) damage over 4 seconds. -Freezing: Basic attacks apply a (x)% slow for 1 second.

W (Thermal Scan)- While active, Cain uses his eyepiece to scan the area for life, increasing his range of vision. This can allow him to see (and shoot over) over jungle walls. (uses (x) mana per second)

E (Steady Aim)- When active, Cain concentrates his aim, reducing movement speed, but significantly increasing range of basic attacks. (Uses mana per second) - less than W

R (Ultimate Mag)- Cain loads his "Ultimate Mag" which deals extra damage and applies the effects of all three types of bullets for 10 basic attacks. NOTE: this can be forfeited with "Reloading!" and he says something funny if you do.

Lore: From birth, Cain and his brother Abel were promised to the Zaun military. Both were natural marksmen with equal skill. At age 10 they were given a test to see what rank each would get in the chain of command, Cain believed that because of his in-born talent he would not need to try hard for the test. Abel believed otherwise and put forth all his effort. When the test came in Abel was placed higher than Cain. Over the years Abel was shown more respect, gained higher ranks, and was taught to have greater skill. Cain grew to resent his brother. Finally, Cain led his brother to a deserted place and slew Abel. Grief stricken by what he had done, he fled the country, promising that he would only show his face again when he could show that he has skill enough for both him and his brother. He finally showed up in the institute of war, 10 years after the incident. Now at age 23, he has come to regain his honor and a rightful place in the Zaun empire. "Do not challenge the barrel of a loaded gun, it will always win." -Cain (Yes, this was based off the story of Cain and Abel from the Christian bible, sorry if you have a problem with that.)

I like the concept a lot but I think the magazine bonus would have to be pretty good to justify the 2 sec downtime, expecially in late-game, where you would have high AS and you'd reload a lot.

Also, the passive like this would not feel good for the player, considering that in itself, it's only a disadvantage. Maybe add the magazine effect to it and change the Q or something.
