Riot, please, dont make the new Gangplank thinner

I know that it may sound a bit weird, but I like him like this, a bit fatter than before his unfortunate event. As a fat person myself, I find it really difficult to find characters that I can relate to in almost any videogame (speaking of weight and body type) and having a fat champion not tied to some fatphobic motifs (like the few others here in League of Legends) is very helpfull for us, fat people.

-Gragas is a drunk man and all his kit is drinking or throwing alcohol -We have the yeti, ok, a more or less fat monster. But a monster at the end of the day. -Tham Kench have the same problem than the Yeti. Also, his kit is "goes around eating people". -Bard just looks fat, but he has no body and when he dies you can see a few lights leaving his body as the clothes fall off the ground. -Urgot, enough said.

Well, we Fat people are more than eating and drinking (and monsters). Our personalities and the things we do arent based on just "FOOD FOOD FOOD". We can do almost the same variety of things than thin people and its so sad to see that the very very few champions who occur to being fat are just biased and based on simple and hurtful ideas. It can look like a stupid thing out of our shoes, but being able to relate to fictional characters who share our body type AND are not built around these misconceptions can be healing for us. Also it would make it easier for you to create a Runeterra that feels more real. Because the real world is full of different bodies, and this new Gangplank could be a good way for you to start to depicting it.

PS: I'm Spanish, I hope the core of this post can be understood. If I sound kind of angry or something, its not the case. Im just trying to ask this the most polite way possible with my poor English and a lot of mistakes, probably u.u

I think that it could work.. if Gangplank was a new character. Changing the bodyshape of a character who already has his fanbase is a serious crime to me. But I do think that LoL could have a fat yet interesting human character in the future. As example, there's a cool tank character in a free mmo shooter Dirty Bomb named Rhino. He's intelligent and pretty cocky, I kinda like him and he's pretty fun. "Statistically on average I shoot all of you about nine times". http://i.imgur.com/D9HzKGZ.jpg

I know it can be problematic and I understand your point. But since they showed this new base skin today I've been reading a lot of hurtful comments on the matter u.u

There always will be some stuff that will offend people (no matter what group they belong to), but it's pointless to fight back like a Don Quijote who fought the windmills. Everyone will still have his own opinion, just don't take it to heart - these are just thoughts of strangers, that's how internet works. And more than that, you have already stated that the personality doesn't have to do anything with the bodyshape and it's true.

As a fat person I would like to point out that there's definitely some of us in the FOOD FOOD FOOD camp.

I know! Me myself have an anxiety disorder and I tend to eat too much when I'm anxious u.u What I was trying to say is that we're not defined by this. Thin people can have this disorders too or even simplier, they can be fond of food and just eat a lot because they want to. But we dont see thin champs getting the same treatment than the fat ones u.u

I dont know, even if they change GP, I can't believe Runaterra hasnt room enough for a better fat champ than what we currently have.
