I'm interested in starting to concept champions. I've seen many awesome concepts (shout out to whoever made Dha'Ma!!) and I was wondering if any of yall awesome creators and people could give advice to a young duckling like me, and enlighten me on how to create a great champion that would work in the LoL world who is balanced and can be played in the pro series. All that fun stuff! Thank you in advance! :D

What do you want specifically?

Reading the lore of other champions. compare the stats you want your champion to have with that of similar classed champions. also bounce ideas off summoners who comment on your champion and take their advice into consideration. Also don't be afraid to think as far outside the realm of league as possible. get ideas from movies and books to create your champions. and give them life through balance scaled abilities.

  1. Make a backstory. Making a history and an environment for you champion can help in the design.
  2. Sketch some designs. Draw as many as you can and then take the best part of each and make the best one.
  3. Make abilities. Take your picture and your back story to create names, icons, damage, duration, and development.
  4. Put it all together. Get your champion and its abilities together in a format similar to the ones you see in the game. (You can also color and shade your pictures.) And you're all done :) (Optional step) 5.Make some skins for your champion! Hope I helped. :)
