Phillipp Magnus used to be a promising commander in the army of Demacia, where he fought courageously and ruthlessly in the pursuit of glory. His notoriety among fellow soldiers was unprecedented. He proudly witnessed the likes of Jarvan IV and Garen, the Might of Demacia grow into valiant champions as together they fought the Noxian armies. He could only dream of next day's battle in shining armor.

He got older but none the weaker; his skill in battle only seemed to increase. Unable to retaliate, Noxian villains tried to scheme a plan that would destroy the commander once and for all. And indeed, one morning, getting ready for another combat, Phillipp sensed a strange coldness about his home; and, returning to the ill-lit bedchamber he found his wife murdered, covered in her own blood.

Since that day, he's been seen here and there, a vagabond, no more, and is half heartedly called Old Phil, his past glory long forgotten. It is said that his former ghost, thirsty for battle, appears to his foes in their darkest nightmares. Determined to find peace, Old Phil has amiably been taken in by the League to tutor younger champions.

Abilities:

Passive: Reflect Whenever Old Phil gets attacked, he receives an additional 5 Mana Regeneration. Can stack.

Q: Teardrops Target an allied champion. He receives three teardrops for 5 seconds that disappear upon the champion taking damage. For the next ten seconds after taking damage, the ally heals for 100/120/140/160/180/200% of the damage taken. Can stack. Whenever an ally within 700 range dies, reset the cooldown.

** Range:** 520 Cost: 70/75/80/85/90 Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6

W: Confuse/Resist Target an enemy champion. All his skillshots will shoot in the exact opposite direction. Target an allied champion: remove all of his debuffs, including movement impairing effects and damage over time effects. Whenever Old Phil gets stunned, reset the cooldown.

** Range:** 800 Cost: 65 Cooldown: 12/11.5/11/10.5/10

E: Soldier of the Past Send an untargetable ghostly soldier towards a chosen direction for 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 secs. The soldier taunts enemies he passes by or through. He has a line of sight. Whenever you get a kill or assist, reset the cooldown.

** Cost:** 60/70/80/90/110 ** Cooldown:** 8

R: Mercy Activate on an allied champion: For the next 8/12/16 seconds, if the champion were to die, he receives the % HP of the champion dealing the killing blow instead (the enemy champion doesn't lose HP, though).

Range: 1400 Cost: 120 ** Cooldown:** 30/27/25


*This champion should play as a support and disruptor.*

**Gameplay:** Max **Q** first, **W** and **E** get maxed depending on the course of the game (winning hard or losing hard).

**Items:** typical support items (until I come up with something more original): Mana and Mana Regeneration, Cooldown Reduction, some AP and, of course, wards.


**Appearance:** An old army captain with rugged military clothes and a hermit's beard. Maybe an eyepatch or a scar in the face. Jokes and other expressions would be more or less in line with George Carlin's (the legendary comedian) style.
