Teemo, A Soft Rework

Abilities Camouflage Edit no Change. If Teemo stands still and does nothing for 1.5 seconds, reduced to 0.75 seconds if he is in brush, he gains stealth.

If Teemo enters stealth while in a brush, he can move around and maintain his stealth as long as he doesn't attack, use an ability or exit the brush. If he enters stealth while outside of a brush, moving or [1] being moved also breaks his camouflage.

When the stealth is broken Teemo gains the [2] Element of Surprise and 20 / 40 / 60 / 80% bonus attack speed for 3 seconds.


4 Edit no longer blinds, now a skill shot, half mana cost, half CDR. Stinging Dart RANGE: 580 COST: 50 COOLDOWN: ACTIVE: Teemo shoots a dart skill shot at the target enemy, dealing magic damage and applying all on hit effects.

*MAGIC DAMAGE: 40 / 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 (+ 60% AP) Stinging Dart resets Teemo's autoattack timer.


Edit no long grants bonus movement speed on activation, now grants AOE vision impairment for enemies.

Calvatia COST: 40 MANA COOLDOWN: 15 Range of smoke blast: Same as ult radius PASSIVE: SWIFT: Teemo gains bonus movement speed if he hasn't taken damage from enemy champions or turrets for 5 seconds.

「 BONUS MOVEMENT SPEED:10 / 14 / 18 / 22 / 26% ACTIVE: Teemo throws down a smoke shroom at his feet. Vision for all enemy targets in the smoke loses vision, this lasts for 3 seconds.


Edit now has a stacking effect that can be activated for a blind.

Blinding poision RANGE: 600 COST: 40 MANA COOLDOWN: 8 PASSIVE: Teemo's basic attacks deal bonus magic damage and [3] poison his target, causing them to take additional magic damage over 4 seconds. Subsequent attacks refresh the [4] poison's duration. they also add a blinding poision stack.

ACTIVE: duration. Upon reaching 3 stacks you can activate blinding poision, this will blind the target for 2 seconds.

Noxious Trap Edit no change RANGE:「 300 / 600 / 900 」 / 212.5 / 60 / 200 COST: 75 / 100 / 125 MANA + 1 MUSHROOM COOLDOWN: 0.25 RECHARGE TIME: 34 / 28 / 22 PASSIVE: Teemo stores a charge of Noxious Trap periodically, up to a maximum of 3 stored at once.

ACTIVE: Teemo tosses a mushroom trap on the ground which stealths and arms after 1 second, lasting up to 5 minutes. While armed, mushrooms grant [5] sight around them. If a thrown mushroom lands on another one, it bounces an additional distance before planting.

If an enemy steps on a mushroom, it detonates, [6] poisoning all nearby enemies, [7] slowing, granting [8] sight of them and dealing them magic damage over 4 seconds.

  • Summary explanation for changes: Teemo is a fan favorite in league of legends despite his kit boring. If it were not for the feeling of evil glee you get for playing everyone's favorite champion to hate I would assume Teemo would already be on the list of upcoming reworks. It is rather ridiculous for a champion to only have 2 damage moves and one of them is a point and click that also applies all the utility in his kit. I hope to turn teemo's Q into more of a harass and lessen the automatic counter to any auto attack based champions. Having your blind as a activatable you can only cast on champions with 3 stacks creates a counter play option for auto attack based champs, while I substitute his new found weakness by giving him a move that helps him survive assassination attacks by immediately making his close by attackers lose vision. On top of this there is now a mind game element of "did the teemo even leave the smoke clouds or is he invisible?" I think the use of having mushrooms as an acceptable form of in combat attack creates more of a budgeting concern for your mode of play as well.

I'm not a fan of the nerf to all the utility of his Q. Thoughts on making his Q activate a short-duration blind that grows in strength the more poison he has on a target? Adds counterplay and some decision-making to Teemo's kit.

I also feel that Teemo's new W doesn't really fit his concept super well, and he definitely loses some of his playstyle without the movement sterioid.
