New Swain (ideas)

Since the most didnt like my concept for Swains new optic, i want to share with you guys my idea, how new Swain should look like with some the following images: (imo new Swain should look like a mix between those characters)

As u see i think he should look like a old, cunning veteran with magic trics, maybe necromancy. He should look a bit like a charmer but not in a bright Rakan way, more in a dark, seductive, rough way.

What do u guys think? Want to know your thoughts and opinions. :-)

"old, cunning veteran" and "charmer" are two kinda contradicting thematics...besides, I think they are going to stay pretty close to his existing lore and theme anyways...just flesh it out a little bit...

Why not? It can function together just imagine a proud older man with smart eyes and black hair with greying temples. I don't think Swain should look like he now does: very old, fragile and ugly.

From where do You know he will still stay nearly the same? Would be interesting to know.

Well I don't really know...just feel like he should ^^ And I also think that the whole old and fragile thing fits with his kit, seeing as how he transforms into a bird monster. His human form is old and his bird man form is strong and terrifying. Thats definitely not something they are going to change.

Well than hope it, cause I think he WON'T stay this way. Why? Cause it's very underwhelming for a noxian leader :^)

Isn't that kinda the entire point of his character? He is old, crippled, fragile and maybe even ugly, but nonetheless he became the leader of Noxus through cunning. Making him look powerfull and charming would take away from how astounding his accomplishment is.

BTW Le Blanc already fills the role of the dark, seductive veteran with magic tricks, which is another reason why I doubt Swain will develop in that direction.

That's the point I want to get to. Swain should be the male counterpart to LB.

He should be an older man, yes but not fragile that's nothing a f leader should look and behave like, especially for Noxus.

We seriously don't need another LB character in Noxus, especially just a male counterpart.

Swain being fragile is an important part of his character, since as you have pointed out: He shouldn't have been able to become the leader of Noxus, but he managed to do it regardless.

His power comes, not from his human dominance or strength, but the fact that he can just morph into a big bird monster and eat you... (his literal quote) Becides, he doesn't "behave" like an older man...hes just older. Nothing more, nothing less...I really think that making him a strong, dominant and charming character would not fit well with his theme and kit.

Not every champion has to be handsome. I'd love the double chins and monkey ears and flat noses much more. If you take a look to study some League faces, a shit ton of the females all have the same face shape.

Look you clearly don't play Swain or don't like his current character. Swain is not a charmer. He never had been.

Just cause I have a problem with part of your idea doesn't mean I hate the whole thing. Although I don't like either of the pictures you showed. The first looks like Swain but not noxian. The second is too young and handsome.

thank u for the feedback. the problem is the constructive part u know. u gave me constructive feedback with your second post. but th emost of the others just pick one part out of my idea and DONT talk about the other aspects.

U can ask too, but no just downvote the hole idea. thats dumb, sry.

If u would ve asked me about the part of the hole "charmer-thing", i would ve explained it more like this:

i know Swain should NOT look "charming" in a pleasure/ enjoyable way. But i think there should be a much more significant way between his bird-form and human form. Imo in his human form he should look like a cold, hard man - but in a weird way attractive (there are differnt forms u know), in his bird-form he should look ugly and devastating. (maybe like rooks with no feathers around its head)

he should ve a deeper relationship between him and leblanc. leblanc should be the feminine part, with sensual, appealing behaviour and optic. Swain should be the counterpart to her, but, again, NOT fragile like a man who dies in the next second, but like a powerful, wise man with a sneaky charakter similar to leblanc.

Shouldn't you present all the information in your post? Having to ask what exactly you mean seems redundant.

Words like attractive, charming etc. are very subjective, so a reader would likely fall back to the default of pleasent/seductive looking. If you mean a different type of attractive you should point it out.

Maybe. But this is NOT a newspaper-report. I wanted to discuss and keep things interesting, instead many of you just downvote and wirte - tldr - "lame, dont like it".

Thats no feedback and discussion at all.

Why should Swain be a charmer? Nothing about him speaks of charming. He's a cold, calculating, brutal, warlock leader of a warrior nation. He doesn't need to charm you. He doesn't need to woo you to his side. He doesn't care what your opinions of him are. Because he's more powerful than you, and he doesn't need your admiration. He takes what he wants, and if you get in his way, he crushes you.

None of that says charming to me.

Maybe, but u focus to much in this point. With your explanation he should be above all not a fragile, crippling old man. He should be more intimidating and proud looking.
