Mike: The Rockstar Hero

===Lore=== As a boy, Mike had always dreamed of being on the stage. He begged his parents to take him to every concert possible, especially those of his idol, Sona. While his parents were poor, he was able to save up enough money for one day when she finally came to his town to perform. Unfortunately, Mike couldn't get a ticket, as the show was sold out. Waiting outside the concert hall, head hung low, Mike was suddenly struck by something, but he couldn't tell what it was. This happened a few times before Mike realized it was the music Sona played that moved him. That weekend, Mike bought his first instrument: a guitar. Desperate and inspired by his musical influences, Mike set out to recreate the same kind of power using his own music. This process was slow, until one fateful harrowing when his home village was attacked by a horde of creatures from a black mist that settled around on all sides.

The creatures were relentless. Mike had heard stories of great men fighting thousands of them off in one night, but he was no hero. Then something inside him changed when he saw his mother picked up and dragged away, screaming for help. Mike knew he had to act, and did the first thing that came to him. He picked up his microphone, and threw it at the demon. Dazed, the demon dropped his mother and screeched at Mike. Unfazed by the loud noise, Mike reeled in his microphone by the cord and landed a telling blow right to the demon's heart, finishing it off in time to save his mother. As more creatures of the night closed in around Mike, he reeled his microphone back, swinging it around with one hand, realizing that there was more than one way to hurt someone with music. All those nights of practice paid off, and Mike swung his improvised weapon with great finesse, bludgeoning all foes who came near.

However, the microphone was not enough, and as the black mist inched ever closer to the village, Mike knew he had to act fast. Thinking back to his rehearsal, Mike dropped his mike to the ground as he pulled his guitar from his back. Pouring his soul into his next action, he strummed a chord that let out a resounding tone of harmonies unheard before by man. Causing a magical sonic explosion, Mike blasted away the creatures, as the mist disappeared from the village. That day Mike became known as the Rockstar Hero to his village, and soon, to people all around Runeterra.

===Abilities=== Passive: Encore Mike builds up hype from using basic abilities, and a smaller amount from using basic attacks on champions. At enough hype, Mike may expend some of it to re-cast an ability, adding another effect to it. Mike gains 25 Hype for using an ability, and 5 hype for landing a basic attack on a champion. Maximum 100/150/200/250 hype (based on R rank). Costs 100 Hype to re-cast an ability. Additionally, Mike's basic attacks do not use projectiles.

Q: Sonic Weapon Cost: 70 Mana Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds Mike begins to swing his microphone in a circle defensively, reducing all incoming damage by 20/25/30/35/40% for 1.1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 seconds. During this time, his next basic attack has 150/175/200/225/250 increased range, and deals 60/100/140/180/220(+50% AP) in a 275 radius circle (and 100% AD to his primary target). Using this attack ends the damage reduction effect. Encore: If used within 1 second of the first attack hitting, Mike winds up and slams his microphone down on the target area within 600 range, dealing 40-250(+70% AP) (based on level) magic damage in a 350 radius circle, stunning enemies damaged for 1.25 seconds.

W: Windmill Strum Cost: 60/70/80/90/100 Mana Cooldown: 12 seconds Mike strums his guitar, dealing 70/115/160/205/250(+50% AP) magic damage in an 800 range line, interrupting enemies hit. Mike gains an additional 2 hype for every enemy hit by this ability (5 for champions and large monsters). Encore: Mike may use hype to re-cast this ability within 1 second of the original use, allowing him to cast this ability 3 more times at no cost within the next 4 seconds, after which this ability goes on cooldown. Champions hit by more than one blast of music take 50% reduced damage from hits beyond the first.

E: Power Slide Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 Mana Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 Mike dashes 600 units in the target direction (not over terrain, or through brush) leaving a trail of sparks in his wake for 3 seconds. Allies who walk along the sparks in the same direction gain 20/30/40/50/60% increased movement speed. Enemies who walk on the sparks take 8/16/24/32/40 (+15% AP) magic damage and are slowed by 10%. Encore: If Mike uses hype mid-dash, he leaps in the air and slams down at the end of his dash, dealing 40-220(+50% AP) (based on level) magic damage and knocking up all enemies in a 300 radius circle for 1 second, and healing all allies within 1000 radius double that amount.

R: Soul Chord Cost: 100 Mana Cooldown: 120/100/80 Seconds Mike jumps high, then slams down after a .75 seconds delay, dealing 300/400/500(+80% AP) magic damage to all enemies within 600 radius. Encore: If Mike uses hype while mid-air, he additionally silences all enemies damaged by the chord for 1/1.5/2 seconds.

===Others=== Mike’s homeguard animation is him crowd-surfing. Mike’s joke is him starting to play Stairway to Heaven before a string on his guitar breaks, making him shout “No Stairway? Denied!” Mike’s taunt is him dropping his mike, as a loud feedback sound plays. Mike’s dance is him playing air guitar, and making guitar noises with his mouth. Mike’s laugh is nothing special.
