The Problem the Promos and the solution to fix it
This whole being silver 4 after going 8-0 or 10-0 whichever it is in your promos and being put in gold games afterwards is quite a problem . I feel like a players rank ESPECIALLY in these promo games should be better analyzed such as thing's like total damage dealt to enemies/KDA/ and creep score(these being the bigger factors) should help to determine what rank you are placed after your promo games .
This whole having 2-3 tiers lower of a actual rank then the average MMR of games is a lose lose situation for everyone in my opinion.It's going to ruin the integrity of the players that are actually in that current rank , and alongside that it's going to take the smurf alot longer to climb to the desired rank due to having to play many more games since their actual ranked placement was so low . Sorry riot but I don't think anyone really gives a shit about being able to see your current rank DURING promotional games since its the same one every new account. It's not a surprise to anyone really lol.
So basically riot I ask of these two things
- Create a better fail proof system to help better determine a new accounts rank after promo games 2.Make it where you can ATLEAST be able to place in gold or LOW plat after your promo games again on a new account
This won't stop all smurfs , but I think if we can do these two thing's it can definitely help alot. The old promo system in my opinion was much better , not mad just think this is something that needs fixed. I more less want this fixed especially because when I make a new account it's annoying being a mid bronze rank and already having gold MMR
