Human Xerath skin?

This isnt my artwork, but i saw it and thought that would be a pretty cool skin for him, reasons being A)ITS NOT A FUCKING RECOLOR and B) Only thing they would have to do is give him his old lightning particles from his old kit. cmon rito, its been 2 years since his last skin. Show the love he deserves with the skin he needs.

Sounds like the Pre-void Kassadin skin.

Perhaps a possible death animation could be his body dissolving. Would be cool.

Aside from the fact that I don't think a human Xerath could be genuinely recognized as Xerath unless you see his spells, I do like the artwork.

They can't. Due to the lore he is supposed to be sealed because his power rivaled the mages. Although he is powerful enough to crack the seal he can't break out of it. He decided to join the LoL because he is able to steal the power of the nexus which should be able to break the seal. Sadly at the end of each game he is still stuck in the seal. Just another gg with no sign of him getting any stronger or us seeing his true form (which is pure power/mana).

Ultimate skin just came out and we already have a brilliant idea for another one. It'd be nice too because Xerath's skins are a little lack luster.

Still not as bad as Zac though...

This skin looks amazing. Although, will his animations(moves) be the same or different like a new shade of blue? darker blue?? Otherwise. I like the idea.

Old Xerath was 1 of the 1st champions I played when I started playing LoL. He was actually 1 of the main champions who attracted me to the game, I really miss his Locus of Power (think that's what it was called). The function of that spell was really unique. But anyway back on topic, I'd 100% buy a skin like that for Xerath.

Love the idea, but I think for him to actually look like a human xerath he would have to float and look distinctly humanoid, at which point from the design recognition point of view (the character silhouettes that Riot define to figure out what makes someone recognisable) he would start moving into Malzahar's territory in a big way.

Due to young face, I honestly thought it was another potential Ezreal skin. It's fantastic-looking, either way, but I would not have guessed Xerath.

I would just forget about Xerath, because I honestly don't think Riot even cares. Old Xerath was more fun than this Xerath, but then they reworked him. If they wanted such a vastly different champion, they should have just left Xerath alone and made a new one.

Then they reworked his lore, which turned out like his rework, terrible. ( For me, at least. )

I wouldn't count on them to actually give him a skin other than a recolor.

He's a shell of his former self, no pun intended.

Maybe more cheekbones and manly chin alongside bit a bit of wrinkles. We have a handsome guy in his.....50s-60s?

Maybe change the hair a little bit...Maybe.

And make his outfit a bit more shurima like? Just slightly. Maybe in terms of color or just design. Or pattern.

Sounds pretty good. When he dies he can become sparks of energy in many pieces and just disappear. Kinda like Leona, Lux, Malzahar, Celestine Soraka.

i can see this more of an Ultimate Skin or Legendary Skin. Would be interesting to see how Riot would translate this concept into a skin for Xerath.

well, none of xerath's skins are recolours. they do have different models for the pieces of the sarcophagus
