but for the love of god Riot. If you actually care about her do NOT keep the hand on the end of the tentacle. It just looks god awful. Just use the kinda tentacle you have on BC Vel'koz or something of the like. Not a damn robotic arm.

EDIT: allow me to clarify, I voted for Deep Space but Battlecast was my second choice, Just the hand did it in for me. I couldnt bring myself to vote for it because of it. If they make the hand look super badass or give it some unique animation, then maybe. But until we know for sure i just want a regular robotic tentacle.

I'm really surprised that skin won. When the poll started almost everyone was arguing over whether deep space or adventurer was the best skin. (It was deep space)

Quick reminder: It's not even necessarily a battlecast skin. They even mentioned that the names are pointer into the direction of the skin. If they turned it into a Dreadnova skin, now that would be cool.

im not mad IM ENRAGED WHY THAT ONE THAT WAS THE MOST UGLY SKIN OUT OF ALL AND WHY CANT RIOT RELEASE ALL 3 OF THEM, they just did 2 on blitz who has just enough skins. HER TENTACLES LOOKED SO COOL On adventurer and the theme had so much potential maybe even a story of exploring where she meets future collector of artifacts champion or something similar which would be an awesome teaser but no LETS GO FOR THE MOST PLAIN ONE

That was just a rough concept they showed us there, so I really hope it doesn't look that awful when they show us the progress on the skin. Or it really will be a total shame that the theme won over others that were more deserving.

i thought that the hand looked goofy at first but it grew on me. Have it waving there in lane and then turn into a fist as it slams. Would be neat.

Actually the hand is what sold me on Battlecast Illaoi but now that I think about it the hand would be better on like Reaper/Voodoo Illaoi

I voted Battlecast. Just because voices weren't heard at reddit and this forum, doesn't mean that we didn't want that choice. :) Forums and reddit are a small group of players compared to the mass population that Riot Games actually holds.

honestly, i preferred deep space... but if battlecast has to be the winner, then i personally say keep the hand. it's the only redeeming quality of the skin imo. of course, everyone has a different opinion, so regardless of what happens, one of us is gonna be disappointed in the end :)

Honestly the idea of her smashing people with robot parts is what makes me like the skin concept

Deep Space and Adventurer had terribly boring visions of what the tentacles could be, vines and goo, wow. When her base skin (void bringer) is basically purple goop it should change more than that, one of the biggest reasons shes hard to make skins for is her tentacles so they might as well do something interesting with the skin. The hands may be a little disproportionate but crazy robot parts coming out of the ground and smashing people is actually the most unique concept on that front.

I'm curious and also sad wondering how the vote would have turned out if "Battlecast" wasn't put on the name and instead just 3 unique skins being polled with nothing more than the concept of them and it later being revealed that the skin was going to become Battlecast.

You're joking right? That's the only reason I voted for that skin. The hand makes it somewhat original, while the other two literally looked like the base skin. What's the point in getting a skin if nothing looks different?
