Pierrot the Mad Puppeteer
I deleted the original posting and remade everything so it's more focused and refined. Give it a read and tell me what you think!
I don’t have a design (since I’m bad at art) so if anyone wants to design it they can be as creative as they want.
** Move Set** (It would be nice to get some ideas on how this can be revised)
** Passive**: Living Thread
Each basic attack will apply a stack of Living Thread. Pierrot can apply up to 5 stacks of Living Thread to an enemy champion. Pierrot has true sight over champions who have stacks of Living Thread. Stacks go away after 8 seconds if damage from Pierrot hasn’t been dealt in that time.
** Q**: Stitch
Pierrot throws a needle going through enemies and dealing damage and applying 2 stacks of threading to each enemy champion hit.
** W**: Dancing Puppets
Pierrot taunts every enemy in range with a stack of Living Thread. The more stacks applied to the enemy champions the longer the taunt. (it will range from 0.8 seconds for one stack to 4.0 seconds for five stacks)
** E**: Lifeline
Pierrot throws a threaded needle that goes through enemies and binds itself to an enemy champion, also applying one stack of Living Thread. This ability can be re-cast up to three times to either bind to a single champion or bind to multiple champions. 2.5 seconds after the threads have not been broken, every enemy champion with a needle bound to the is pulled toward Pierrot, dealing damage equivalent to how many threads have been bound to the champion and healing Pierrot for a portion of the damage dealt.
** R**: The Final Act
Pierrot becomes unstoppable and creates threading that binds itself to every enemy champion with stacks of Living Thread on them. After Five seconds, Pierrot pulls every string, dealing damage that increases based on how many stacks have been applied to the enemy champion. Stacks of Living Thread will not disappear in this casting time and the range is unlimited.
** Lore** (I used RamItInMyAsol's concept for Pierrot's Moveset to revise my original story, and I feel like this is a lot more original and focused. I kept the relation to Jhin and Shaco but it is changed to a degree)
In Ionia, there is a theater group that brings joy to everyone across the across the province. This is the travelling troupe known as Troupe XiYu. The head of the troupe is known only to his audience Pierrot the puppeteer. Pierrot is the head of the entire troupe, directing all his actors to make each show better than the last. He could direct the stage to make his audience cry as well as make them laugh, with little to no rehearsal beforehand at all. When asked how his actors do it, they would often say that they felt an outer force controlling their acting.
Despite his talent in directing theater, Pierrot is almost never seen on stage, rather he allows a marionette that he made in his likeness to direct the show in his stead. He can always be seen wearing gloves laced in gold on black fabric with runes lining the fingers; these gloves are of some significance as when children ask about them after each show, he says he was born with them, and that they would always come back whenever they were sold or lost.
In each village that the troupe visited however, there would always be some thieves trying to steal from the troupe’s wealthy success. The nearby guards would often find gangs of thieves in back alleyways with limbs rearranged in ways the human body could not possibly hope to achieve, and still left alive at that. This was the work of Pierrot, as well as the work of the gloves that he wears. Once his living thread has been weaved through the body, with a simple twitch of his fingers he can control anyone, creating movements that are inconceivable under normal circumstances.
Despite his violent tendency, Pierrot sees beauty in joy, specifically in the joy of children. This is what led him to adopt a boy from Ionia’s Southern Mountains, named Jhin. The boy dreamed of becoming an actor, and Pierrot was happy to teach the boy in the art of theater. Jhin grew older he asked for a part in one of Pierrot’s shows to be promoted from being a mere stagehand, however Pierrot declined, as he believed that the boy had more talent directing the action than performing it.
One day Jhin was caught by a gang of thieves and held for a heavy ransom. Pierrot went alone to the meeting place, and easily dispatched of the gang members, turning them on each other and turning them into a stitched-up work of art, leaving them alive to be taken care of by the village guards. The boy saw Pierrot’s handiwork and was intrigued at the suffering he had brought. Jhin would later grow up, vowing to one up his mentor’s art, however this only saddened Pierrot as he knew he had created a monster.
This would not be the only monster Pierrot would come to make, as there would be another that came out of his own likeness. During one show, Pierrot had directed the marionette that he created as normal until his movements were no longer transferring to the doll. The marionette stood still for a moment and then looked upon the crowd. Pierrot had given up control of the strings and he had no idea what was happening. The marionette jumped at the crowd with juggling knives that were used for the show and began to slash at the ongoing crowd. Pierrot knew that a dark force had imbued his marionette with the capability to cause suffering instead of joy, and this was the last show that Pierrot ever masterminded.
Having now created two monsters, Pierrot eventually left Troupe XiYu, and wondered what was left for him. He knew that Jhin and the marionette were his fault, as he could not control them. Knowing that his power to control living thread could never bring joy to others, he set his sights on the only place where the odd and unnatural could go: The League of Legends.
Interactions Pierrot wants to bring joy to others, but he is haunted by the memory of all those he has killed and the two monsters he created. A slingshot personality befitting of a mad artist.
