Last time I posted an idea for a champion it quickly became obvious that there were some major problems with it. But since then I think I've gained a greater understanding of the game. I was inspired to make this when I did some research on one of my favorite historical figures Tomoe Gozen.

Gomoe Master of the Warrior’s Way—Champion Idea

Gomoe is an Ionian Champion with a strong focus on versatility. She switches between being a speedy, skilled, somewhat beefy melee Fighter specializing in building up her strength the longer she’s in action to deal physical damage then deliver a decisive ending blow, and an immobile high damage Marksman/Mage who builds up range and magic penetration the longer she goes without taking damage or cc. I imagine her as being slightly sorter than average, being very pretty in the face and having a very fit, well-developed, beautiful figure, but being quite modest and usually wearing heavy samurai-esque armor. She’d carry a long sword on her hip, a spear in hand, a magical bow on her back (which is why her arrows can do magic damage), and a quiver on her other hip. She is an honorable, strong willed person who embodies the warrior’s spirit. She was born into a distinguished family even as an infant she showed downright supernatural physical strength, and because of her nature she knew early on that it came with great responsibility. She chose to make use of her physical strength by learning to harness it with intense training in skill, strength and speed. She learned to use the conventional weapons given to any other foot soldier—the sword, the lance, and the bow—but her natural physical abilities allowed her to use these to the fullest and beyond. Gomoe uses weapons because she fears she would come to value life less if she knew how easy it would be to end it without having to use something outside of herself. She values life, but fights without hesitation if it is for the right reason.

Secondary Bar: Pulse and Focus

Passive: Plan of Attack When Gomoe approaches an enemy or combat she is given the choice to go in with her sword and lance, or to go in with her bow. Can only switch after not being below half health for a while (not effected by CR). Cool down timer is paused if she is below half health. 40% of her Lethality is converted into a shield after not taking damage for a while (cannot exceed 10% of her max health). Sword and Lance: Gomoe unsheathes her sword and draws her lance to deal physical damage in melee range. Gomoe’s AP is converted into AD (overall AD is reduced by 10%), 50% of her MP becomes Bonus Armor and the other 50% becomes MR. While using her sword and lance Gomoe gains Movement Speed, Attack Speed, and Health Regen for every stack of Pulse. Being on the battlefield causes Gomoe’s heart rate to rise, causing her to gain a stack of Pulse for every 10 sec she is in or near combat (max of 7 stacks). Bow: Gomoe sheaths her sword and puts her lance away to use her bow to deal magic damage. 25% of Gomoe’s bonus armor is converted into AP. 50% of her Movement Speed is converted into MP. Gomoe’s basic attacks deal additional magic damage based on her AP, but the extra magic damage dealt by her basic attacks is reduced the farther the target is. Gomoe’s basic attacks and abilities gain range for every stack of Focus she has. For every 15 sec Gomoe goes without taking damage she gains a stack of Focus (max of 7). Abilities consume Focus. Ultimate is not available.

I don’t have clear ideas for her basic abilities and I don’t have the time to come up with an entire kit, but I do have an idea for her ult.

R: Death Shower Assault Gomoe imbues her lance with her chi channeling briefly then throws it to a target champion or monster anywhere on the map deals some physical damage, impaling the target, rooting them on hit and briefly fearing enemy champions near the target. Gomoe then channels while she sheds her armor (literally taking her top layer of armor off as well as loosing 90% of her bonus armor for 30 sec) before she dashes to the rooted target damaging all units and structures hit along the way except for allies and deals decent true damage to the target with her sword and unleashes a hail of arrows dealing 100 (+90% of her bonus armor) AOE magic damage around the target. Consumes 7 Focus and 7 Pulse. Afterwards Gomoe is briefly stunned and silenced from exhaustion, then gains a short burst of movement speed and is automatically returned to her melee form. Passive: Gomoe’s overall damage is reduced by 5% for every 400 health she has.

Ok I know that this can easily be overpowered, but I think I designed it so that it can be easily nerfed just by changing some numbers, maybe these numbers work I'm not good at math and like I said before don't have time to work the whole thing out.

Hey Everyone! Don't You Think Us Fans Should Be Able To Create Our Own Champions? I Do! This is my idea: Winston, the Noxus Strangler What Winston looks like. Winston is a white cloaked Teenager, with pale skin and brown eyes. He has a dagger on his belt, beneath his cloak.He uses a dagger, but that's only his side weapon, his main weapons are his hands. Winston's title is the Noxus Strangler for a reason. He strangles anyone who get's in his way, usually, his cloak is splattered with blood. Winston has blonde hair. Once, when Winston was young, he earned the name Strangler. He earned it by sneaking into the invasion of Noxus onto Ionia, he strangled a poor, rugged, and "stupid" according to him, old lady, left undefended. Winston stole his cloak from the Ionians, and had worn it ever since. Winston uses mana. He is a melee champion. Winston's passive: Dagger's Blood. Winston's passive, Dagger's Blood makes Winston's every third auto attack do twenty more damage. It has no cool down, and does not work on minions. Winston's Q: Dagger Stab. Dagger stab has a cool down of 8/6/4/3 every level you upgrade. Winston pulls out his dagger and throws it. If you see this Riot, it's up to you to come at how far it goes. If the dagger hit's the foe it slow's the target by 20% of the champion's speed. The ability does 80/95/115/14. The mana cost is 65/70/75/80 Winston's W: Strangler's Grasp. Winston grab's his enemy and roots him. The foe has to be next to him to can cast his ability. The root last two seconds. The cool down is 10/7/5/3.5. The mana cost is 50/55/60/65 Winston's E: Sneaky Blur. Winston speeds up, immediately gaining 50 speed. He still can be effected by defects. Cool down of 18/16/13/10. Their is no mana cost for this ability. Winston's R: Strangling Rampage: Once you active this ability Winston Stun's the enemy he click's on, he jump's onto the foe and drain's 50% of their Health Points. While he does this he is vulnerable and it can be deactivated. Do you think Winston is a cool champion?
