Syndra's Lore

I know all of the lore is currently getting reworked, but there is something about Syndra that I find surprisingly relatable as far as our personal problems, but I won't delve into that. Syndra was a natural born mage, she experienced a devastating betrayal and now she is practicing her magic without any restraint or interest in where her talent comes from. It even says on her wiki page that she doesn't fully understand herself and must if she ever wants to realize her full potential. I think this pretty much means that she is a lost soul and is desperately trying to find herself, but doesn't realize that what she is doing will never allow her to find true happiness and purpose. Syndra's lore leaves off on a depressing point, and in any anime, movie, book, or tv show it would be considered a cliff hanger. I remember reading her lore for the first time and thinking that it had the potential to be so awesome and inspiring. Can we please get an update on Syndra's lore? So you actually feel happy for her rather than pity.

I don't think you're supposed to feel happy or pity. You're supposed to feel scared. She's a moody teenager, with enough magic power to turn you into a smear on the wall.

A lot of the champs' lore are left uncompleted making them a perfect fit for the game - they all seek something at the institute. Power, glory, revenge, justice, purpose, knowledge, etc. They are just like normal people, our stories don't end - they evolve as we do. Besides, 'happy (completed) endings' are boring and too concise for me. :)

There are a lot - a LOT - of areas in which the Lore needs expanding. If we're lucky Rito might get around to figuring out their basic setting - i.e., a map - by next Christmas. Meanwhile, Syndra's personal story will probably get updated whenever they get around to Ionia. If we're lucky, it'll be more Bilgewater than Targon (or Shurima). I wouldn't worry too much, for now.

I want more lore for Syndra too. Also an explanation for why Zed and Syndra are friends. coughzedxsyndracough

I'm really just looking forward to an epic showdown between Karma and Syndra.
