Why does every post on this board have multiple downvotes?

Without saying names, a particular user comes on the board occasionally who has multiple accounts and down votes everything. He doesn't come on that often, but when he does he comes on to stir trouble. Just ignore it and in a day or so post your idea again.
I think people usually downvote threads that have no real reading value or are too bias/inconsiderate of other possibilities or choices.
If you say dota2 is better than LoL and LoL is watered down trash of it, expect downvotes. It isn't about people defending LoL with downvotes, it's about the lack of thought and the shallow mindedness that went into the post. You can like and play both games -- one game is not better than the other for everyone.
Goes for skins, champions, games, memes, balance changes. etc.
There one nasty person, who level multiple accounts only for downvoting. He pretends to be a nice guy to others, but in reality, he downvotes everyone and everything, while giving himself multiple upvotes. Also, moderators are on this person's side, because he have multiple accounts and can report you multiple times, so no one is allowed to name this person or do anything about him. But let me tell you this - he already commented on this thread and expects people not to notice, that he upvotes himself.

As someone who took these boards VERY seriously for about half a year straight, I can say with near-certainty that there are a handful of troublemakers around. They will systematically downvote every single thread on the front page one by one, then log into another account and do it all over again.
I watched the boards like a hawk several months ago, and noticed a pattern. It always happened around the same time of day, too.
Board haters.
Been wondering it too. It's like someone goes through and downvotes all of them without reading just so that meaningful posts wont get popular.
Because people prefer if they dont like what the person talks about they down vote it without a word. Which is really annoying.
I'd understand some downvotes, if the user in question feels like the post isn't valuable or disagrees with the content.
Votes are only a representation of overall opinion (sans multiple-account abuse and whatnot), when the real value lies in the discussions to be had. Nobody is a pro designer on their first post, and may be subject to criticism.
I hate to say it, but you don't only have to downvote trolls and overall jerks. It's your opinion.

Yeah I have noticed at times there is clearly someone behind it. You can see someone who's being negative and completely nonconstructive in their posts, you disagree with them, and suddenly all of your posts and any posts disagreeing with them has 8+ downvotes. I actually see a few people I suspect of doing it in here.
It's also pretty obvious when the topic itself, and all replies are pretty positive, except 1 or 2 negative people that everyone disagrees with and downvotes, then suddenly all the positive replies with upvotes are now down to 0 or lower in a matter of minutes.
Recently it happened in the 'Ask a Sona Main' thread, there were tons of replies that were not negative in any way, not bad posts, with positive upvotes. Then I look today and almost all of those posts that were positive now have -3 or worse... I don't buy it.
IDK, but it fucks with Riot. Riot is only gonna look at posts with high numbers of upvotes b/c they don't want to waste their time with a potential new champion that only had a few supporters. Whoever this guy is, he obviously is just trolling.
Speaking of which, I literally posted a thread in concepts "Why are other champ concepts so popular?" 10 minutes ago, already has 1 downvote, which means someone looked at the title and assumed I was a whining bitch before even reading the post, since people who actually read posts comment on them. I will be tracking how many downvotes I get over the next day now that I posted this comment.
