Profile Banner Customisation

I'm sure this idea has been posted here before, but I thought I'd refresh the concept into Riot's heads - unless there's a reason they dismissed this.

The profile banner (the one you can change by owning Pulsefire Ezreal, DJ Sona or Spirit Guard Udyr) should be customisable. It could be a reward for Champion Mastery (Level 5), as nothing fulfils that role yet. They could also be bought from the store for IP, as they aren't anything major, just a nice bit of unique-ness to your profile. After having this old man here for too long now, I'm wondering why you can't change it without paying £20 for a skin. Sure, keep the 3 Ultimate Skin ones unobtainable, but maybe they could make separate champs their own banners, or maybe scenery like Howling Abyss, Bilgewater e.t.c.

Just a thought. Let me know if Riot has shut this down in the past.

Even after paying £20 for a skin, you still cannot change the profile banner solely. You have to select an associated summoner icon and then your desired banner appears on your profile. Sometimes you do not want the Icon but want the banner, Riot should allow the changing of banners.

IF an Icon is 250rp I doubt a banner will ever be a reward for anything. It would most likely cost and even then chumps like me will line up. I would still love Riot to implement a freedom of choice when it comes to the banners. Wearing blue shoes should not mean you are forced to wear a blue dress. Uniqueness is fun but not achievable when it comes to Profile Banners by Riot.

I would love to see this happen too. Im tired of this old man, and it has nothing to do with League of Legends. It's an old ulgy picture and it doesnt make any sense why we only have that picture + a bunch of special udyr/sona/ez banners. Rito can really make money for it if they can make some banners that can only obtained by RP.. i would defenetly offer a few 100 dollars for some nice banners. And i know for sure some others too. Big business we talking about Rito. look into it please:))
