Stats

300 Health 40 Attack Damage

Unique Passive: Killing a unit grants 8 maximum health. This bonus stacks up to 50 times. Unique Passive - Executioner: Physical damage inflicts Grievous Wounds on enemy champions for 3 seconds.

Build Path

Jaurim's Fist + Executioners Calling + 300 Gold

Lifesteal is a stat thats only countered by Grievous Wounds but the only ones who can incorporate this into their builds reasonably are most mages and the adc. Many toplaners too that are considered dominant stay on that high perch thanks to life steal and life regening abilities (Darius spin, Illaoi tentacles, Irelia W) and this dominance remains unchallenged until team fights begin and sometimes this comes too late or not enough. This item should give an answer for those who aren't content with farming under tower and actually want to make some worthwhile skirmish trades. The only reason these skill types are so dominant is because top laners don't have a reasonable option to build Grievous Wounds into their item sets.

I actually like this item a lot. I've always wanted a grievous wounds item for some of my tanky toplaners. I'd even sometimes just buy executioner's for the effect knowing i wasn't ever going to do anything with the item until I was 6-slotted because having the armor pen wasn't an immediate concern for myself. I can get behind this item

Lol, that's why you play ignite on toplane. TP is useless in my opinion

I agree with that, tp is mostly just used so the toplaner can get back to farming faster to stop a push on their own lane. It only picked up popularity because professional players were using it to make devastating ganks and power plays. What really brings this item to mind is the champs who thrive off excessive regen and similarly themed skills. ignite is useful for an all in endeavor but against champs like illaoi and darius its difficult to even put them in that position because they're just constantly regening when trades and all in fights happen. With this item though you reliably have grievous wounds applied with all your damage and they can't use it to tower over you as much.
