[Champion concept] No conventional auto attacks

Idea A champion who cannot auto attack normally was my goal. Instead, the champion will create a fiddlesticks drain-like link between him and his target; being able to target both enemies and allies. He would also be able to create multiple links and chain links from one to another assuming the targets stayed within link range of each other.

Primary role: Support Secondary role: Mage Link range: 550-600 (minimum range to target is 550, Link breaks upon exceeding 600 units of target) Attack damage: Champion does not have an attack damage stat and thus does not gain any bonues through items.

Passive: Champion cannot auto attack in a conventional manner. Instead, targeting an enemy or ally will create a Link between Champion and the target. Targeted enemies take 60-120 (+20% AP) magic damage every attack speed seconds. Additionally targeted enemies take 10% less damage up to a maximum of 30% less damage. Targeted allies are healed for 30-60 (+20% AP) health every attack speed seconds.

Q: Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 All Linked enemies take 85/130/160/200/250 (+60% AP) magic damage. Enemy champions take an extra 20 (+10% AP) damage for each additional enemy champion Linked. Max +60 (+30% AP).

W: Cooldown: 15/13/11/9/7 Passive: Linked allies have 12/14/16/18/20% increased movement speed, while Linked enemies are slowed by 12/14/16/18/20%. Linked enemies take 80/110/140/170/200 (+40% AP) magic damage and are stunned for 1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5/1.6 seconds.

E: Cooldown: 16/14/12/10/8 After a 1 seconds delay, Champion strengthens the Link between him and his targets, preventing enemies from moving outside the max Link range for 2 seconds. During this duration, all Links become impassable for enemies.

R: Cooldown: 120/90/70 Passive: Each rank of R increases maximum number of targets you can have Linked at once (up to 4). You can now chain Links by targeting an enemy/ally within range of an already Linked target.

Champion instantly unleashes all Links to nearby enemies/ allies (prioritizes enemy champions) reducing incoming damage for allies and decreasing resistances of enemies by 10/15/20% for 5/6/7 seconds or until the Links are broken. Effects linger for 2 seconds if the ties were broken early and the remaining duration is 2 or more seconds.

Notes:

  • Selecting a target outside of your Link range will attempt to find the optimum distance and number of Links necessary to reach them. Example: select an enemy champion out of range with rank 1 ult will Link a minion within range then from that minion Link the selected enemy champion.

  • Selecting a target with no available Links swaps targets according to this priority queue: oldest chained link (link connected to a link) > chained link > oldest link.

Hope you liked the concept.

You know, I really love the idea of a character that doesn't attack normally and this is almost as great as it can be. I just have one problem. This guys heals better than anyone else. His minimum of 30 health per attack is aproxximately 20 hp per second at level 1 at no cost. Soraka, the best healer in game, heals 20 hp per second at level 1, pays 10% of her max HP and 50 mana. A realistic heal shouldn't be more than 5 hp per second at level 1 if you expect there to be no cost or this guy's sustain would be OP as all hell. Then you could have the Q do a burst heal too or something, but a costless passive heal is WAY too strong. Oh, and reduce the damage/heal by 20% per extra target, not 10% (Maybe have ult scale the reduction down to 18/16/14%). This'll make it a lot more balanced and gives you an actual choice wether you should target more or not. His Q should have an interaction with allies also. Just do like I said before and it'll work fine. His W shouldn't have a passive slow. That simply makes him too strong. His E's coold, though its duration should maybe be made longer and make it a two-way skarner ult or something where people can pull eachother. That is just a suggestion, I just don't feel like it's a super effective spell at the moment. His R seems really weak for an ultimate. Tank buff/curse is not really that interesting when it comes to an effect.
